Bad Company 2 $17.97 EA Store download

damn I want this but I hate how your download expires after a year. I am probably going to get a new computer next year, so I wish the links lasted longer
 
Where are you finding that? I'm looking through their ToS but haven't been able to find an clear download period.
 
it says this on wiki so I don't know if its still active

Users were given one year from the time of purchase to download a game, but there is no longer any reference to this on the EA Store
