errr to late now but there is a location half dunkin doughnuts half baskin on jefferson bout a mile east of the hospital that I am pretty sure is open till ten. Uhh next year maybe.

I got six scoops of reeses. can you say diabetic coma!!

I went to my local one at 8pm (website says open from 5-10), and there were 100 people in line. 5 minutes later, I hadn't even moved 1 step. So... I left and gave up. I was tempted to just buy something from the supermarket next door, but meh. What a waste of time :(

Same at my store, the wife and I said we are cheap but not that cheap so we left.

Got to my location around 5:10 and there were around 15-20 people in front of me. Line moved pretty quickly and I scored 3 scoops of Rocky Road and my wife 2 scoops of Mint Chocolate Chip. Thanks for this post OP. I knew way in advance about this deal due to being on their mailing list for their Birthday Club.

Damn, I should have done what you did and gone early. I'm not a big sweets person, so I convinced my family to go and try it after dinner. Oh, what a failure that was. Knowing about it early doesn't mean anything, since it's a one day thing, though.

Though in retrospect, 2.5oz for 31 cents isn't THAT cheap, so I'll just fool myself into thinking I saved money on expensive ice cream..... (yeah right)

bad thing is it probally would of put around 20 miles around trip on my car or over 5 bucks in gas... I can buy a few ice creams at the store for the price.

not that cheap I know but one thing at least it still seems to be ice cream. lots of manufactures of ice cream have stopped selling ice cream or reduced there selection and started selling frozen dairy dessert or something like that. Basically it replaces enough of the milk fat with whey so that it can no longer be called ice cream and has to be called something else. oh uh where was I...

well my family and I got a total of 14 scoops. To take the kids out and get that much ice cream for under five bucks a heck of a deal for me for them to feel that special. = P

Oh an incidentally locally the kids scoop at 2oz is $1.59 a scoop would hve been $22.26 for me versus the $4.70 or so I paid. So woo hoo¡¡¡

What's even BETTER than this deal, is the one at Coldstone Creamery. Sign up for their birthday club online, and they'll send you a coupon for a free "Love It" sized classical creation on your birthday.

The sweet part is, they accept any form of I.D. (use my school ID) when accepting the coupon. You don't need to verify your birthday.

I went last night and got 3 scoops of sherbet. They rung me up and asked me for $4 something. WTF? I said, "Isn't this 31 cent scoop night?" They said yes it is, but they use a smaller scoop for those, and I had to ask for it.

Don't have to ask for $1 scoops on $1 scoop Tuesdays...

so you said all right then change my order to that right ¿?

Was a fucking joke. I tried to go to this. Could barely get in the parking lot, about 30-40 people in line OUTSIDE, and about an hour later I saw the "scoop". Marble Slab FTW.

I did and they wouldn't, so I had them throw the scoops out, then I went back and ordered the same thing for $0.31.

their choice and loss...

Yeah My GF and I headed over at about 9:30 for the hell of it, didnt think anyone would be there walk around the corner to about 50+ people in line. Laughed and went across the street for dinner. It was almost 10 pm, 4 minutes to close and the line was double the size.

Yeah no thanks, But thanks for the heads up op!
