ohhhh yeah I know all about that, its an hour from my house so I go and most of the time the good stuff is already gone so we basicallly wonder the store for an hour give up and go home.
 
i got this at fry's last week for $25. this game is a steal at that price. the combat system is pretty cool (card-based) and the graphics are amazing. the voice acting is probably the worst I've heard this generation; everyone sounds like they're talking through a plastic tube. regardless, the game is solid.
 
I don't think there was much traffic for it in Houston at Fry's. When I got it, there were a lot left. And yes, it is an awesome game with bad voices. But they are better if you change the audio setting from stereo to surround in the menu.

I was just at Fry's today and they had a crap load, too bad the deal is dead, I'm still pissed I missed out, Baten Kaitos is next on my to get list, missing out for 25$ is simply unacceptable

Well those might have been new, the store near me got a new shipment in 2 days after the deal was over. Pretty shitty since like someone already said they don't do rain checks.

I'm enjoying the voice acting in Tales of Symphonia. Sad that Baten Kaitos will have bad voice acting. Oh well.

Nobody beats Konami voice acting.

Though Castle Shikigami comes close... =)
