[quote name='heyitskeegan']My complaints for these games:
Batman:AC- the story feels like it cheapens a lot of the Batman universe, feels almost like a re-hash of the "little bit of everything" that Batman: Hush does, not to mention the whole game has a weird misogynistic vibe to it

Misogynistic? In what way? I will concede that the Batman interrogating Harley Quinn while she's tied up is a bit over-the-top, but on the whole I don't see a misogynistic attitude here. The game features Talia al Ghul, Oracle, and Selina Kyle, all very powerful and very intelligent females.
I will agree that there are probably more villains the story than there really need to be.

Witcher 2- I CAN'T get into these games and have tried three times, it just doesn't feel intimate or necessary, a lot of people think adding the "superb" writing and "polished" conversation mechanisms adds a lot to RPGs, but give me the minimalistic design of Demon's Souls/Dark Souls any day. Oh, and the combat feels incredibly like the titular character is a cardboard cutout, the way your character moves has no correlation to the way enemies move, hardly feels like a well thought out combat system

The Witcher games are based on books so if you're looking for games that are NOT story-driven you're barking up the wrong tree. Most reviewers like that the devs have managed to capture Sapkowski's characters and world and translate them so well to this medium. As regards the combat, well, I'm not really sure I understand what your comments mean. Geralt has a standard "roll" move in combat that works pretty well, although I personally found that he had a tough time when surrounded by more than 2-3 enemies.
