Batman Anthology Best Deal?
I'm looking for the best deal on the Batman Anthology that comes out Oct. 18. I was shocked to see that Best Buy doesn't have it in their ad. Any help would be great!
You really want to permanantely own the Schumacher films? Brave man. Even drinking beer didn't make Batman and Robin any better.

At Amazon.com it's $51.98. I think it's the cheapest I've seen.

it probibly comes in a cool box.. hey even though Robocop 3 was utter crap (NO ONE CAN REPLACE PETER WELLER AS ROBO!!!), still bought the box set for the cool fold out holder it had (underside t?)

Batman Anthology Box Set is must have. Also, don't forget Re-master SUPERMAN Anthology coming out next year = same time new Superman movie hit the theater. :)

Yeah, the new Superman box will be great. Hopefully it will include the alternate cut of Superman 2.

What sux is that in the wherehouse.com 30% sale, you could get this for around $40 after shipping and tax. I just figured I'd wait, and now I know I was wrong

I was planning on getting Batman & Batman Returns...and MAAAAYBBBE picking up Batman Forever. I might as well get the box set, since i'm getting 3 & 4 for only $10 more.

I grabbed the set off Amazon for $51.99. It was shipped free and no tax. Target is good, but with tax and driving it would be more than what I paid.

I went to Target this afternoon, and apparently they only got a very small quantity of Anthology sets, because they were completely sold out. I went to Best Buy, and I got one of the last couple of 2 Disc Sets of Begins there, but didn't see the Anthology at all. Finally I drove to the mall across the street and found the last Anthology they seemed to have on the shelf at FYE, for 55 dollars + 15 dollar rebate, which if you take advatage of makes it the best deal available. (Even for 15 bucks, I won't take the rebate though, I abhor having to cut up my box)

You don't have to cut up the box. if you send the yellow price tag with the bar code it will suffice.

Have you tried this before? I was under the impression you needed the actual upc.

I ordered my Batman Anthology for $42.66 through the warehouse 33% off sale. But it doesnt work on new anymore.

Directly from the rebate form:

"To receive your mail-in rebate.... 3. Original UPC Bar Code Symbol from the package. No photocopies accepted"

The Original UPC Bar Code Symbol can also be the one on the shrinkwrap. The one that has a white sticker with a yellow box on it with the price. I've sent the shinkwrap with the sticker several times and gotten a rebate check every single time.

I went to the following stores and they didn't have the anthology: Walmart (2), Best Buy, and Circuit City.

I finally went to Target and they didn't have any on the shelf. I asked someone and if they have any and they said they didn't have any in stock. I was walking out and noticed one in the returned merchandise cart. So I finally got it.

I'm a little dissapointed though. The collection has no inserts. The individual movies are the same way. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing similar situations or if you know that it is only supposed to be the 4 movies in a cardboard box? I was thinking with a collection like this there would be at least one insert.

I went to three BBs yesterday and none of them had it. They all said they "sold out immediately", and didn't know when they'd get more in. I went to a local record store instead and got it there for $55. Better deal than at BB, but a shame that I couldn't get the 5,800 RZ points.

And it looks like there are no inserts in the set at all.

Well, think of it on the bright side that you now have a Batman Forever and Batman & Robin coasters to put your beer on. ;)

Actually, I was thinking about giving them as Christmas presents to friends I hate ;)

Oh come on guys, Batman and Robin is one of the most semi-unintentionally funny movies I have ever seen in my life. It is worth having to just to listen to Mr. Freeze's endless ice puns.
