You learn something new every day. Batman is the "WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE" according to the product description at D2D.
Somehow I think Sherlock Holmes might take umbrage at this upstart "greatest detective" talk.
Well, at least the description of the game isn't a poor translation to English like some of the stuff you see, Batman could end up being "Man who looks like often rabies infected flying rodent".

after all, he first appeared back in detective comics
I'm not sure which writer came up with the greatest detective line, but it's not a direct2drive invention
though sherlock holmes was one of the literary influences of batman
as for the deal, it was a one day cyber monday deal, it expired a little while ago, along with mass effect for $4.95
