Battalion Wars for $29.99 @play-asia

Thanks, I was going to pick this up with the buy 2 get 1 sale at TRU, but with no tax, this actually works out a little cheaper.

Keep in mind that GR will be doing a Trade 2, get a preorder OR new game for $29.99 starting next month, I believe. So if you have games lying around to trade, or can find two cheapies to trade, it might be a better deal, depending on Play-Asia's shipping.

this doesnt make any sense, but when i was in hong kong i could get new US release a lot cheaper than anywhere in US.

$33 with shipping, very nice. Nearly half price on a game that's been out for what? two weeks?

it says it's the US version. been wanting this game for a decent price. just had to jump on this great offer. thanks for the heads up c1l1t.

I snagged Half Life 2 from Play Asia and it was the American version, so I know they do sell American games at least sometimes. If that's what the ad says, I'd believe it.

Also, Battalion Wars is great. Paid full price for it and was happy.

Those are DS games btw. Kirby:CC was like HK$100 or around $13 USD
It says Nintendo of Japan and that you should use a FreeLoader to play it on an NTSC U/C GameCube. I'd be weary.
"For US/Canada systems, use Freeloader for other."

I think it should be good for the US.

Yeah, it's pretty plain that it's the US/Canada NTSC version:

"Battalion Wars
Nintendo of Japan

Compatible with Gamecube™
For US/Canada systems, use Freeloader for other."

I got my copy earlier this week. Definitely a good deal. My bf is currently playing it and loves it. It's very unrealistic, but incredibly violent for a game with no blood, so he seems to greatly enjoy that.
