Battlefield 1942 - Free on Origin! CAG Nights?

I know it's old, but the game is currently free on Origin. I saw a bunch of people in the deals forum said they downloaded it.

I'm not sure how the game holds up but I remember it being a blast in the day. Also not sure how many people are active online, but I figure if we get a bunch of CAGs together it could be fun. Can't beat free!

Would anyone be interest in a 1942 CAG night?

yes. I still prefer the gameplay of 1942, but last time I checked, servers were dead or strangely modded.

Perhaps, we can add some mods to the mix down the line? Personally, I miss Eve of Destruction.

Now that it's free, I'm sure there will be servers up. FYI, you can't play with the people who have the disc version, only those with the new free version.

It's F2P in the sense that you get a client but they servers are under the control of EA. The original F2P model.
