Amazon has Battlefield 3 for 29.99 as a PC download.

It's a 10.2 Gig download so make sure you have plenty of HD space and a good computer to run it. I can't say anything about the game's quality as I've only played the beta, but for $30, it's a pretty good deal.

If you bought any Amazon download games last month, possibly the ones that have been going on sale, most of them had a promotional code for $5 that can only be used on the best of 2011 games, from 1/1 - 1/31.

nice to know that the coupon works. i think everyone has more coupons than available on that list of 2011 games. i wonder if i should pick this up. there's rumors that steam and EA might agree to terms and have it available on steam.

i was looking for it on steam a few months ago and it wasn't available so i googled "battlefield 3 steam" and several articles from October popped up saying that EA might let it go to Steam by the end of the year or soon.

But yea, it's EA so I kind of have my doubts. Plus December 2011 just passed; so much for the end of the year rumor. Other newer EA games like Dragon Age 2 and Crysis 2 are on Origin and not Steam. And EA this is due to Valve's Terms and putting it in Valve's hands.

lots of bad reviews on bf3 download code. a lot of people are complaining about origin service. makes me kind of want to get a disc version now (still on origin, but no download problems).
