CAGiversary!
Yes MSRP but a savings over buying the Game + the DLC separate.

The $69.99 version of the game is meant to draw in new players, including both a copy of Battlefield 3 and a subscription to the game's Premium DLC content delivery service.

Also included in the box is a Multiplayer Head-Start Kit, which immediately unlocks 15 different weapons, gadgets, and vehicle upgrades to give new players an online boost.
You are the fish the thinks you get a deal for the season pass. Just wait you can get it for 1/2 price or the DLC for 1/2. The Battlfield pass was dumb from the start because most people had the 1st DLC in the price of the original game.

I am betting you hate COD and love BF3. You are not going to convice us to buy this great value. We wait, we pay $20 for everything that you paid $110 for.
$110? You pay full price for MSP? What are you doing here?

Not saing this will 100% go down in price, but calling anyone names because they are waiting for a low price on CAG is stupid. Almost all games go down in price and at a fast rate. Even "GoTY" packs like this. And EA themselves discount their stuff on the EA site all the time. I got the Dragon Age Ultimate on their site for $22 with in a year of it being out. That is very similair to this pack (Expansion and tons of DLC)

That's exactly what I was trying to explain, the only reason I ended up calling that guy a tool in the first place was because he was bashing on someone who posted previous to me. Seems to be a problem with most people who've joined this year, no class.

I personally like the idea of getting all of BF3 + the DLC packs bundled together, but the $70 MSRP EA is pushing lately is not something I can agree with.

That said, my experience with BF3 (ps3 version) was that the aim-down-sights sensitivity was NOT scaled properly, and is just too quick compared to Bad Company 2. It's barely slower than from-the-hip aiming. Couple that with far too many close-quarters corridor fighting situations, and it becomes nigh impossible to get a bead on your target without over-compensating all of the place.

I picked the base game on BF for $30, and then sold it back to Best Buy for $30 in January. The controls soured my experience so much, and I've put probably 160-170 hours into BC2. There's even a tweet from one of the DICE devs floating out there that basically says no such problem exists, and that anyone who experiences it is crazy.

Also want to say: I have played it after the latest patch (room-mate's copy; he bought his on BF too, but still has his simply because he never trades in games). It did not fix anything in regards to aiming sensitivity, although I hear some people had 'input lag' issues that were fixed...

I haven't had this issue on either console, but then again maybe I've just gotten used to it. I honestly don't remember a noticeable difference from BC2 though.

Lol really? I payed 15$ for a used copy from a friend. 1$ for an online pass. 35$ for 4000msp. 51$ total for all dlc and the game :/. I'm. It trying to convince anyone to buy anything. I could care less. I just thought it was dumb to stupid to think this box set would hit $20 anytime soon.

Let the bads have their excuses. Anyone who's played the bf franchise on console knows the controls feel the same.
why the hell would they release this on 9/11.
If Products werent released for everyday an atrocity was committed nothing would get released. Also think dice is a Swedish company although not sure if them or ea would pick a date.

Looks like I'll be trading in my plain bf3 into BB this coming week. Then I'll pick this up around BF-new year. It's bound to go on sale for at least $40 (if not $30) within that time frame.

Never forget this thread.

And digital distortion

I'll get this around the 40 dollar mark. I have not and will not buy any of the expansions (beyond the included Karkand), so I'll be getting a decent value out of it.

Getting rid of my regular BF3 now. I'm really hoping it's at least two separate codes that come with the new version (online pass and premium) so I can sell my online pass. I'm guessing they'll find a way to roll it all into one just to annoy me though.

Yeah...some people notice it, others don't. Once I pointed it out, my roommate and I had BC2 running side-by-side with BF3 to test it out, since we weren't certain at first (hadn't played BC2 in a while). It's definitely there, we even went through 3 different TV/Displays to make sure. Just sucks for us, since we REALLY wanted to enjoy the game, but squirrelly controls killed it for us.:whistle2:(

Checking the 'getsatisfaction' boards that DICE uses for feedback, there were a few different threads about various aiming issues. Ended up being a big 'input latency' issue with in-game Vsync, so one of the patches added the option to disable it to fix that problem. Unfortunately, noise about any other problems died down since that was patched, and no word since on the other issues. Aside, my best guess is that the tweet I previously mentioned from one of the guys @ DICE was probably coming from someone who only/primarily played the PC version, where I'm certain the issue doesn't exist.

To draw a parallel, another game that had HORRENDOUS iron-sight aiming was the Turok reboot. I don't even think it was slowed down at all in that game tho, lol. At least BF3 it slows down a bit, though.
he probably paid full price for the game and now he's trying to justify his purchase by claiming that the new version will never drop in price. lmao!
