Battlefield 360 in-game footage - holy mother! (2/20- helicopter & sniper video)

holy shit. oh no, what am i gonna do, GR:AW or BF2:MC?!?!?! ahhhhhhhhh

im just hoping EA continues to put this kind of graphical effort in all their games
 
Great, at first I was just going to get GR:AW, then I see Far Cry and now this...plus Oblivion is coming out next month....too many great games.

I did but I gave it up because of the lack of host options and the extremely bad servers (before they put out the patch). I figure the host options will be the same but I don't think I can pass on this game twice.

Well, not so much just overlooking everything else because of graphics, I have (a little) faith that the servers will hold up better this time around and that I will actually come out feeling ok with spending 60 bucks for the game.

I sure as hell did, and man was I ever disappointed. The 360 version looks very pretty, but every aspect of Modern Combat on the Xbox was busted. Online was laggy, it was hard to find/join a game, EA servers blow, classes were unbalanced, the single player campaign is a joke, and a bunch of other annoying shit I can't remember. I hope they didn't spend all their time polishing this game without overhauling the gameplay.

It's really fuckin hard to join a game with people you know because of the host thing, so if there's 6 of you and you want to play together you have to wait until the other team fills up to an even number before you can join.

Plus, the shit piss fuck cock sucker mother fucker nigger $$$$ Jew garbage is even worse because there's more people.

I'm guessing the servers will turn out like the Call of Duty 2 servers..where it's sorta hard to get the party you want in a room and little to no hosting options. I just hope they aren't as laggy as CoD2's.

Very true. I'm glad to know that at least we have already-proven games like Burnout and Far Cry coming out to rely on, and I'm betting that this game will go beyond the regular Xbox version. By the way, where have you been on LIVE? Haven't seen you on in forever...

snowmobiles are in the xbox version right now thety came in the form of an update I love the regular xbox version online problems are not bad at all as people claim alot of the bugs have been worked out one of the most solid games on xbox right now.

Its all ive been playing.
 
My only real complaint about the Xbox version was the poor draw distance and muddy graphics. They obviously fixed this so I'm sold.

^Should not that even though the game looks good, it comes like a week or two after Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter for the 360. And, quite frankly, I am hoping I will be too hooked on to GR to notice any other games.

How did they change the fact that it's near impossible to join a game with more than 4 people off your Friends list?
 
The graphics may look good... but if it plays as mushy / sloppy as the previous port, I'll have to pass.
 
I'm not impressed with any of EA's ports, and I haven't seen proof yet that they can handle on line servers that work for crap. Most of this footage looks like replay type video too. I'm very skeptical of this game, and will be waiting for reviews. My prediction is that GR:AW will come out on top all around - graphics, options, gameplay... I have no need for two modern war shooters, so GRAW will probably be it for me.
 
Well, if the PC version of BF2 can do 64 players online in a game without lag (I've seen it), then I don't see why it shouldn't be possible on XBL, unless they just half-ass it. As for the Madden thing, that WAS a 'target video' put out like 6 months before the game came out. This is like 1 month before BF2 comes out on 360. I don't think you can get away with putting out a trailer like that with the words "Actual Gameplay Footage" on it 1 month before a game releases and then have it look like ass when it comes out.
 
Wow, 50 players. Lagfest. Should be interesting.

I think for this game everyone should hold their pre-orders off, and instead wait for the GS and IGN reviews. If they both give it a 8.5+ then It's probably worth it, otherwise put your money into Ghost Recon or something.
 
I dont think the graphics are as good as everybody's saying. They're good but not OMGWTFBBQLEETGRAPHIXOMGTOTHEBIG11111111111!!!!!!!!!!
 
I finally watched it...it seems good, but it's like IN-GAME cut-scene footage. Kinda like in NBA 2K6 when they show IN-GAME replays. I want to see someone actually PLAYING the game. It seems promising though, even though I did not like the XBOX version that much,
