Was looking at the Mario Kart DS Bundle online too and it says it's not available for shipping nor available for in store pickup...who knows, might be the site is just temporarily in maintenance or something atm?

Looking at it though, for 150, getting a new red DS, Mario Kart, Nintendogs, and I believe a $15 dollar giftcard (not sure about this)...makes it a pretty good deal, awfully tempted...but will probably have to return a shush-load of games from the previous sales to do so...also PS3 is probably only 5 or 6 months away too, hmm decisions decisions...

BTW...I noticed some talk about a revised DS? Any info or confirmation on that? If that is the case, probably would wait until one comes out, hehe, any chance on a DS Micro? Wishful thinking probably...

Yes, they have a $15 (in the form of a gift card) rebate this week if one purchases a DS (original, blue, or mk bundle), or a ps2 (slim). Purchase must be made through circuitcity.com , so, hopefully they will have them available for purchase at some point. Getting a DS, Nintendogs, Mario Kart, and a $15 gc for $150 is a heck of a deal. I can't really afford the expense right now (I already have a DS and ND, but I want MK and another DS for my SO, OK?), but anyone who has been considering a DS should definitely check out this deal (assuming it becomes available for purchase).

Okay, I apologize for sounding like a complete and total newb, but where can I get this $10 off Best Buy coupon? I'm sure it's been asked 10 million times, but I ran a search, and can't seem to find any topics that point to the coupon.

Well i went to the nearest Circuit City to me and they didnt have Wild Arms 4 out. I asked someone and she said that everything is out and nothing is in the back. So strike one. Then I went to Best Buy which is right across the street. They had it in stock. After waiting on the customer service line for about 20-25 mins the guy would do the price match but said they would not take the coupon since it was a sale item. I kindly explained how they did this before for me but he stated he was a manager and he wont take the coupon. I know for a fact he wasnt a manager he was just being a dick. Strike two. So i drive to a Best Buy the next closest best buy which was only like 10 minutes away. And with no problem at all they price matched the game and took the coupon. She even needed a managers key for the coupon and the manager did it with no problem. So i ended up getting the game for 19.99.

Okay I went with a friend today. He picked up a DS, free nintendogs, and animal crossing. The total came out to be $179 after taxes total. After lookin at the receipt, Circuit City taxed him with $16 which is weird.

Didn't try that, but you can just go to Best Buy to get store credit for it. That's what I did. Rode my bike from CC to BB and got $32 in store credit (they give you tax, too). I was hoping they'd have a copy of Mario Kart, but I guess I'll have to wait.
 
Wow... so MK DS bundle + Nintendogs.. mmmm I really don't like Nintendogs and I only want the red DS. This will sound stupid, but couldn't I return the Mario Kart game.. return the Nintendogs and get money back for both? I know the MK DS game you really can't because it's a bundle right? But just wondering...

The best I could tell you is if you have a retailer that has a good policy about returning things without a receipt then you may be able to get some store credit to buy something else but you would have to try that at your own risk.
 
Ahh I see. Also ... is Mario Kart bundle gone? I never see them around. I know none of my Circuit City has them (at least site-wise). I called up most stores (just BB and GS and GC) and they don't seem them anymore =[. I just hear it's a holiday item and it's just gone.
 
I seriously doubt you'd be able to return the Mario Kart bundled with it at any retailer. AFAIK, the game doesn't come with a case.

Best Buy is the way to go. Up until the end of January, you can exchange any unopened game for full credit. Be sure to get the games stickered at the front and then just walk over to customer service.
 
Was able to get the Premium Edition Resident Evil 4 for $29.99 at Circuit City. (They where out of the regular edition.) Obviously, YMMV.

For real? I always thought BBs would be arses about returning stuff with no receipt...hmm, I suppose it's a YMMV thing, as the BB closest to me seem to be kind of arrogant about those things, so haven't tried it...
