To be honest you can't get your hopes up. BB keeps thier games departments streamlined. You might find some stuff, but I tip my hat if you can find some of the 1.99 games.

Scarce pickin's at my Best Buy (Benton Harbor, MI). Got two copies of Pitfall (GCN) for $5 each, one copy of Formula One 2001 (PS2) for $5, and a copy of Driver 2 (PS1) for $2.

However, I did manage to snag the final six copies of the Baseball's Greatest Rivalries DVD Sampler for a penny each. Worth keeping an eye out for if you need some cheap cases.

My BB really sucks these days...first they put an end to the penny strategy guides, and on top of that I never see any of the clearance stuff there. If it weren't for that reward zone program and the GGC, I doubt I'd ever shop there.
 
I picked up Star Trek: SU for PS2 and Driver 2 for PS1. Both 1.99 all they had left were Socom for PS2.

This is the Almeda store in Houston. Other stores nearby had squat.
 
Yeah, I was actually at BB on monday, didn't even know about the sale, but as usual had my eyes pealed for cheap games. Definitely didn't see anything worth picking up. Although I did use the GGC to get Animal Crossing & Zelda WW for $15 each.

I tried getting Advance Wars 2 but it rung up at $20. I swear, half of the fucking games on the list were in stock a couple of weeks ago but are now nowhere to be found.

thats so true, i was in the N Dartmouth MA store a few days ago and there were alot of them, now they are nowhere to be found
 
Best Buy seems to be kinda screwy when it comes to pricing items and getting them back in stock, during that big $5 clearance a few months ago I picked up the last copy of Wario World, when I went there yesterday they had several copies of it for $20 each! Wouldn't it have made more sense to NOT clearance it off at $5 when they're just going to get more in later? I swear, some of these companies don't know the first thing about buisness (unless there's some REALLY wierd variable I'm not considering).

I ran into the same issue with AW2 when I found it at my local BB a couple days ago.

From the BB website (which I cna now access) It looks like that Baldurs Gate, Timesplitters 2, and The Thing for the ps2 are also $5 in store. Sold out online.

can anyone confirm the suffering price? snagged the last one and it rang up 19.99. as old as this thread is i still got yoshi's island.
