Did you just take it to the register with your RZ card, have them scan game + card, and press Total? Did it not go down to $10 after that?
Or did you go up and ASK about the deal (which admittedly no one knows about inside the stores) causing 15 minutes of confusion for all involved?
You shouldn't have needed to go through any of that. It's all automatic. Really.
The thing that kind of weirded me out when I did this is that he scanned my RZ card first, then the game, and the game still came up as $30 at first. I think he had to hit something to signal that nothing else was being scanned, then it took the $20 off, and the screen I saw quickly has some "Yes/No" confirmation for the deal.
I don't know if some cashiers are seeing that screen and freaking out, or if some people are scanning the game, their card, and still seeing $30 because the cashier didn't take the transaction all the way through to the end.
Bringing a copy of the website should really eliminate any possible confusion, but worst case scenario, go through the whole transaction, and if you end up paying $30, just take it right back. Point being, taking it through the entire transaction should auto trigger the price savings, and if it doesn't, well, they did something stupid and you'll need to talk to customer service, and if they continue to give you a hard time, just get your money back and pick it up used from GS when it hits this price. Can't be too long before it happens...
