Damn....I was really hoping for some deal on Serenity, but we still have other retailers to get through. Thanks Owl. I heard what happened with TSD and all. I am still going to get the DVD when that movie is released to show my support for it.
thanks...battlestar is cheap, but serenity isn't
It's cheap because there's only 10 episodes, which makes me wonder what are they going to call it when they release the 2nd half of season 2 on dvd? Season 2.5? Season 2 Volume 2? Season 3?

Cheapest B&M thus far for Serenity is an implied $16.99 at Target, though if you are ordering from Amazon anyway and need something for $25 shipping, it is $16.98 at amazon.

Also, let me know if you see anything else that is cyan worthy.

7.99 for ghostbusters 1&2 just might be the price drop on that one I was waiting for. That's the cheapest it has hit yet.

I obviously haven't been following too closely, but what happened to TSD? Just my curiosity taking over.

TSD got tired of some of the smart ass remarks a few forum members were making at him so he quit posting the ads.
I obviously haven't been following too closely, but what happened to TSD? Just my curiosity taking over.
TSD decided that since some people made smart remakr she would stop posting ads.

Obviously nobody really cares.
Ghostbusters 1 and 2 will be mine!
I'd be all over that, but I might be getting it for Christmas. Ah well.

Thanks for posting. I'm guessing Target will be the place to get Serenity. It's for my wife for Christmas, so that may be the cheapest price around before the 25th

Finally Serenity is coming out. If I have to wait much longer for it I think I'm going to explode.
I would also pick up Battlestar Galactica, but my parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas and it was one of the things I told them. I want to see the extended Pegasus episode.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering why TSD wasn't posting the ads, since I really enjoyed reading them early.

She, I love it.
It'll be $17.99 just like BB.

Four Brothers will be $14.99 at CC next week for those interested.
That's too bad, but I guess that is to be expected since they don't think of it as a big release, I'd say we're lucky it isn't $20 everywhere like Cry Wolf.
Most likely Serenity will be like $13.99 at CCity.... that's been the price for the past few weeks on all new releases....
Sorry to bring bad news, but it will indeed be $17.99. The CC page confirms it.

Thanks for the post OP :D

I may pick up Monty Python and Serenity. Serenity will be my first instance of purchasing the DVD "blind". (ie: I will buy the movie based on all of the positive reviews of it in spite of the fact that I konw nothing of the movie's plot or look; how I managed to get through the year without seeing any previews or trailers of it, I have no idea)
Anyone confirm that Serenity at CC is $17.99 in stores? I'll be picking it up this week for my wife for Christmas.
Confirmed that it is $17.99 at CC B&M stores.

It appears cities which do not have a Circuit city, but do have a Best Buy, the price at Target will be $19.99 for Serenity and not $16.99 which seemed to be implied.
Holy Grail looks like it might be worth picking up too.
can't believe I missed that. Funny i decided to look through this thread again just in case, will stop by tomorrow for this and Cthulu after coupon. Thanks

Was Cry Wolf actually any good? the trailers made it seem like crap.
