BBV/GameRush>Minimum $10 TIV for all console Games!

i went there today with a copy of alone in the dark 360 soundtrack edition, the guy scanned it and couldn't locate it he tried to find it manually and he said he couldn't take it coz it's a different version and has a different SKU numbers...is it possible??? or he just didn't wanna take it?

Yeah, he can't take it if he doesn't have the SKU in his system. I got denied for Fairytale Fights because they don't even have the game in there. No value, no trade.

Currently, their website (http://www.blockbuster.ca/games/trade_save.aspx) has it listed as one of their Top 10 Trade Ins for the PS3 with a minimum $30 trade-in value, until April 1st. They obviously had an old poster hanging in their store.

I successful traded in my copy of it on Thursday for $30. You could bring back your trade-in receipt with a print-up of that webpage and try to argue that you *should* have gotten $20 more in trade-in credit but they'll probably argue back that all trade-ins are final, blah, blah, blah...

I am not so sure about that, I think the one by futureshop in the west end does. I also know that both St Albert and the Spruce Grove locations DO take trade ins.
 
Doesn't have to be a game rush store as some people have said earlier in the thread, I did it at a non-game rush store and the clerk was surprised to see the trade in values at $10 for games that they were selling for $9.99.

For PS3:
Lord of the Rings: Conquest is $10
SOCOM: Confrontation wouldn't go through because it had no UPC (bundled version... grrr) but the clerk was sure it was $10 also


Suggested the new price for LotR on tivs.ca, but I guess it takes a while for the update to go through?
