BBV Used Deals

Blockbuster Video has some pretty decent deals on used games.

Here's what I found so far lately:

Raiden III (PS2) : 15$
Front Mission (DS) : 9$
Metal Slug Anthology (Wii) : 10$
Devil May Cry 4 (PS3) : 20$
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) : 50$ (hardly a good deal for me but still better than EB)

And I don't know how much is worth .hack//G.U. vol. 2//Reminisce but I've seen it at 15$.

I haven't come across any amazing deals at BBV but I'd just like to point out that the coupons that you get for "buying a wii or DS" at BBV have a 25% off used games one which is pretty decent.
 
When the coupons were first available, I noticed you'd be able to get (using the coupon) for the PS3 at Oshawa:
Mercenaries 2 - $12 w/ tax
Saints Row 2/GTA4/Bioshock - $34 w/ tax
Mirror's Edge - $25 w/ tax
GT5: Prologue - $25 w/ tax

Not over the top spectacular since GTA4 NEW was $29.99 at BB recently, with Bioshock and ME at standard $29.99 now YMMV.

 (Yes, these are the same games I've been plugging every other post...)

last time , i found it at EB for 39.99... and screw that price...

I also paid 10 bucks for MS Anthology on PS2 a few months ago at a local store. Yes screw EB and their 30-40$ tagprice :p

most BBVs does not carry PSPs and DS games in a wide range of selection, so its rare to see a few in stock.

you'll have to try your luck at your local BBVS :( good luck. GOW PSP was at Richmond hill btw.

jesus, im jealous lol, im a fan of that series and i can't find it at a decent price... and when i do, its 39.99 :bomb:

9.99: all xbox 360, spiderman 3, the bigs 2008? not sure the year, fight night rd3, sega rally turdo haha...god knows how many i've bought :)
14.99: army of two,motorstorm ps3, BFbad company went up to 19.99? or wrong sticker?
also elders scroll IV oblivion is 14.99 if u can find it

It's great, especially for 20 bucks. One of the very first good PS3 exclusives! Get it if you like action-adventure-rpgs.

there's an occasional used PSP game in Woodbridge Hwy 7 store, but never anything exciting. You're better off getting used at EB, more selection and the games drop in price pretty quickly.

also had skate 2 (ps3/360) for 49.99...about 42 after tax w/ the 25% off coupon.
 
I was able to get two good deals recently:

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (360) -- $9.99
D.I.R.T. (360) -- $9.99

Also, I was able to use the %25 off coupons with them. They aren't the newest games, but that's the lowest used prices I've seen for them.

dirt is rare, and has a pretty high tiv at EB.

I just picked up WarioWare Smooth Moves for $19.99 (minus $5 w/ the coupon). I have been wanting to pick this up for a while but didn't want to pay the high used price at EB.
 
wow, r6v2 for x360 i seen was 19.99 stickered price..maybe it'll scan at 9.99? i guess prices also vary at lcations or maybe they didn't change stickers

Hmm, never even thought to look it up on http://tivs.ca/ until you mentioned it. I bought it to play it though, not trade ... by the time I get around to playing it the TIV will probably be worth even less because D.I.R.T. 2 is due out pretty soon.

I picked up WarioWare at the Lacewood BBV in Halifax. I usually forget to post the location because there are so few people from Halifax or the East Coast on these boards. Which comes in handy when there are limited quantity deals. :D
For example I think there are still a couple of PS3s bundled with LBP and GT 5 Prologue plus 3 Blurays at my local Walmart.

Hotel Dusk Room 215 was a great game i heard. just like Ace Attorney.
 
ok i can confirm that sticker prices r wrong at sum bbv but i think when they scan the price its gonna b all the SAME cuz head office sets ONE price for the game correct? i just picked up a game that said 24.99 but scanned at 14.99

other 9.99 games for xbox: nine eight nights? or 99 lol ... virtual tennis 3 was also 9.99

im not having luck finding 9.99 wii games :(

That would be Ninety Nine Nights (N3), EB was selling for $3.99 a couple weeks back. I didn't find it too bad, for the price at least :D

Also forgot to mention Samurai Warriors 2 Empires (360) was $14.99 as well. Not to mention they had a couple 100g packs of Dove chocolates (gf loves) for $0.99 each, reg $3.69.

Nice thread here. I'm going to the Blockbuster at Masonville to check out what they have. Anyone know the price of Super Paper Mario at BBV (used)? Or if it's still $45 with the $5 + edge discount at EB?

Folklore - $19.99 (picked it up)
MotorStorm - $14.99
Devil May Cry 4 (PS3) - $19.99
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3) - $29.99; (Wii) - $39.99; (360) - $49.99 (picked up the PS3 version!)
Warioland: Shake It! - $29.99
SOCOM: Confrontation SW - $19.99

And I'm 99% sure I saw Call of Duty 3 for the Wii for $9.99 and if TIVs.ca is still correct, that's an easy $20 profit at EBGames. I didn't pick it up, though.

Somewhat unrelated, but Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is $9.99 used at EB (picked it up), and it looks like MadWorld and Bioshock both have permanent price drops to $39.99 and $29.99 respectively (picked both up). Good day!
