And you sound like an asshole
I'm pretty sure your attitude in this thread has turned many off from buying or trading with you. Good luck getting trades on here if you are going to act like a fool

In 8ball's defense, in that same lowball sale he only charged me $5 to ship two games with cases, a disc-only game, and a memory card. Considering he bought a mailer and paid for delivery confirmation, $5 seemed quite fair.

On the other hand, I paid for those items on March 10th and he mailed it on March 30th, so it took a long time for the games to come (and only after I started asking questions in his thread). I find it kind of ironic that he's getting upset about someone taking extra time to make a payment.

gameoverrg was the last person to pay me in the sale I ran last month, but a friendly reminder PM or two was all it took. I got the impression that this user also has a game business, so it might just be that your sale got lost in a big pile of transactions or something.

Def need to stay away from 8Ball...

I do agree that the guy should still pay for the items...but not that your inflated shipping rate.

I guess you deserved it...

If any one decides to stay away from trades from me is ok, and your lost. But yeah the price isnt the greatest but is not my fault that someone can not read. And also all I asked was for a Pm no big deal and Im bot crying for it either. But yeah I actually tried to contact him and if he ignored me than theres nothing I can do. For I have no control over people.
This includes comic books that cannot be sent via media mail as the pages are littered with advertisements.
We ship dozens of comic book orders every day. Most go Priority, but some customers request Media Mail. We've been shipping comics Media Mail for 6+ years, with the contents clearly listed as "comic books" and have never had a problem.

Even when speaking directly to postal employees, say if we have a claim or are tracking something, they'll ask what the box contained and we tell them comic books.

The reason comic books are not supposed to go media mail is because they generally tend to contain several advertisements, which is why comic books and magazines tend to be barred from being mailed through media mail.

From USPS.com

Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs.

Unfortunitely the ads in comics and magazines ussually arent just for other books but games movies and other products.

DVD's have a million ads before the main feature start.

All I'm saying is that even if it is true, the post office doesn't care. We've never been questioned in over 6 years.

I've also heard of people wrapping up boxes filled with comics right in front of the postal employees (due to some post offices requiring them to verify what they are sending is indeed meant for media mail) and having no problems. Well, besides "rude employees", but that's a whole 'nother carton of eggs.
The game were shipped in a well patted mailer enveloped purchased at USPS, the games are use and are not new, never mentioned the were new. Now as for the cases being broken I have no control when I ship the item and what/how they handle them. Now Vice City is an old game and was played in my PS2 Fat that scratched the games, but the game works good, LCS was played in my slim only once or twice. And the only fault in the box that I take blame for is VC that has a small cut. But other than that the bottom of the cases were not broke, but ofcourse your not going to believe a cag member with less feedback than the other so I just let you guys judge. If I should take blame for USPS mess handleing packages, I have received packages that thing break and USPS does nothing about it even if you tell them that the item is fragile.
that is what insurance is for.. I remember selling a SEGA CD front loader for 150 bucks on ebay ... packed it up all nice and tight and the SOB ups worker tossed it like a freaking freezbe after i handed it to them.. Of course the item was busted when it got to the person who paid for it.

funny thing is he sent it to sega to get repaired instead of going though the hassle of a claim..

maybe lowball sales should say

SHIPPING COST IS 3 bucks for the first game and a FIX xxxxx bucks per game after that no matter how many you win

I know there was a few sales i was going to jump on but then though 10x 2 bucks per game is alot of cash

post office scales might be off as well.. I just sold 2 packages of 100 coupons... one package i shipped yesterday cost 3.85 today it cost 2.96 and it was the same items

also would like to know what they won :)
OK, you dont seem to understand but thats ok. If you go to any lowball they all have the same rule, if he wanted to bid on so many of the items he should of thought about it and all I asked for was a reply to the countless Pm's sent to him. You dont expect to pay shipping only for one item and than get the rest of the items for no shipping and 1$ per item. But if this was your problem I wouldnt get on your case, I didnt abuse of anything. Now if you think thats over priced than theres nothing I can do for you since your not gameovergg.

While the shipping may have been a bit off, The person bidding knew the charges where going to be there. And if he didn't like it he could have atleast tried to negotiate a better deal instead of bidding then bailing on it.
Boy, I thought I was the only one who raised an eyebrow to the shipping charges. $1.50 for the mailer everything was stuffed into, $2 and change for shipping, and I'll be generous and say $2 for delivery confirmation somehow cost me $12 in shipping charges.

I saw the rules, the almost exact same rules that are part of every lowball, but assumed if shipping was outrageous it would be adjusted. I've taken part in several lowball sales and this was the only time the shipping made me think the low prices weren't worth it. But it is true that the shipping charges were clearly stated, so shame on me for that one.

But with the case of gameoverg, he was being charged more than the cost of his bids for shipping which is outrageous. Actually I was charged $12 for $13 in bids as well, but decided to pay it. I wouldn't think twice though if someone took a look at those charges and simply said "yeah right" and closed the window.
