i love beef jerkey. beef jerky is pretty expensive at my local grocery. anyone have hookups for buying it in bulk for cheap?

i like the authentic tasting kind - not that horrible slim jim stuff. thanks
$41.77 to have a case of bottles shipped to me. I think I'll pass.

Coke drinkers also claim that sugar coke is better than the stuff made with corn syrup. i honestly don't remember since the change was made in 80s.
There definitely is a difference between high fructose corn syrup coke and actual sugar coke. You can pretty much taste the difference instantly. Pure sugar coke doesn't leave a cloistered taste on your lips.

Screw all you sugar drinking bastards! :booty:
I've tried a bunch of different jerky over the past few years...but I always come back to these guys...

It's friggin' damn good. And they also make their own "Smokey Sticks" that are really good, too. I've gotta order more soon!
Last November Amazon had a special where if you order $50 of Slim Jim they take $30 off. So I bought $100 worth and it cost me something 1.10ish a bag ($4 in store).

Right now Amazon has a 40% off Conagra coupon:

With it you can buy three boxes of 12 packages of Pemmican teriyaki jerky for $45.90 which is a $1.28 a 1.8-ounce bag.

Go to ebay and buy jerky off a company called "Jerky Direct". Its fresh, tasty, the price is right, and I can't complain. They have beef, buffalo, turkey, and chicken.

Hah, you beat me to mentioning jerky direct. I'm a reseller of theirs, and everything I've tried has been good, though some are better than others of course. I personally like the peppered buffalo jerky, but they also have beef jerky and turkey jerky in different flavors for those of you without an adventuresome spirit. ;)

Also, if you're really into jerky like I am (the main reason I created an account with them) you can signup on my page and become a reseller yourself and order jerky at wholesale prices (~$7.60 for two bags instead of $12, or buy them in cases).

Individually at two 3.5oz bags for $12:

Or signup here:

Right now I get a new jerky every month, so it's kind of like a jerky of the month club, lol. Anyway, if you use my page or not (though I would appreciate it) I still recommend trying their jerky.

Oh, and check local butcher shops, there are a couple in my area that have really good jerky. Not as cheap, but definitely good.

I go deer hunting. kill like 2 deer, and get1 completely made out of jerky. Its expensive, but u get a lot. The best flavor is called, "Chicago Style." BBQ isnt bad either. I get the proccessing done in Jackson, MI at a place called Rives Junction. reply here if u ever heard of it

Like some guys have said if you really want some good jerky take some time and make it yourself, I've used some of the seasoning mixes from Cabela's and used both beef and venison, its the best way to get it the way you like.

And the way The Good Eats guy set up the fans really works. We tried it when we made deer jerky last year. We used a peppercorn marinade and it was hard to which was beef or venison.
