Being a slut DOES run in the family!

I think alot of the resonses you guys are posting are pretty damn funny. I bet way more than half of you were having sex at 16. I know I was. Yet shes a slut? fuck, accidents happen. As long as she does what she needs to do to raise the baby properly, who the hell cares? Quit the holier than thou bullshit. I bet alot of you would be rushing her off to the abortion clinic instead of manning up and taking care of it.
so Rape isn't illegal anymore?

Seriously... she's not one of the kids I teach. If she was, I would have bitched slapped that hoe and kicked her skanky ass out of my class.
Because it wasn't rape, it was statutory rape. Those are two totally different things. Depending on where shes from, age of consent is most likely either 16 or 17. As long as the guy is 16 or 17, they wouldn't go after him. Has his age even been stated? Maybe shes the older party.

And yeah, bitchslapping her and kicking her out of the class will certainly solve alot, right? Sounds like you should get a teacher of the year award.
He's 19, which makes it a felony in LA.

However, I'm sure he'll never even be charged.
I don't think its a felony unless your more than 3 years older than the minor. 16/19 = safe I believe.

§80. Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile

A. Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile is committed when:

(1) A person who is nineteen years of age or older has sexual intercourse, with consent, with a person who is twelve years of age or older but less than seventeen years of age, when the victim is not the spouse of the offender;

Fair enough. Theres just so many side-rules to it all, ya know?

(b) Any person who engages in an act of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor who is not more than three years older or three years younger than the perpetrator, is guilty of a misdemeanor.

Sorry, I can't find that clause. In fact, what I see towards misdemeanor is:

§80.1. ;Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile
A. Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile is committed when a person who is seventeen years of age or older but less than nineteen years of age has sexual intercourse, with consent, with a person who is fifteen years of age or older but less than seventeen years of age, when the victim is not the spouse of the offender, and when the difference between the age of the victim and age of the offender is greater than two years.

So apparently the third season will end with a cliffhanger of whether she will leave her boarding school for London or stay in the US.

They just wrapped up the fourth season, so I wonder how they'll handle the lapse in a season? My guess is she goes to London and "disappears" after meeting a lad who is, by night, the modern-day Jack the Ripper, and her character is written off.

Paris Hilton will be the next turd to get pregnant, watch it.

Ooooh man, great post until the end when you fucked it all up!

The abortion clinic could be the responsible thing in this case. It all depends on how seriously the younger Spears is willing to take the situation that she's in. I think it shows alot more responsibility to not bring in a kid into the world that the parents don't want (not to mention how overpopulated the world is anyway) then to go to term just for (well I don't know what those culture of life phonies are on about all the time)

 @ you guys arguing over her being pregnant by her long time boyfriend that is three years older than her. Droppin' that knowledge up in here!
so Rape isn't illegal anymore?
Who the hell said anything about rape and why did you capitalize it?

She had sex, found out she was pregnant, held off on it and now shes opening to the public about it... big fucking deal.

I don't think its the responsible thing to do at all. She has more than enough money to raise the child properly. Shes showed no signs of being a total fuckup like her sister has.

Nah, pretty much the entire post is off the mark... I mean even at 16 I knew enough to WEAR A GODDAMN CONDOM AND MAKE SURE SHE IS ON THE PILL. It's not rocket science. Accidents like this don't "happen" unless you are completely retarded. Granted, teenagers are horny little buggers but it's still no excuse and definitely not an "accident" when you don't use birth control and end up getting pregnant.

Also, just because you can afford to take care of a kid doesn't mean you should have one.

And if there's anyone with a proven track record of being completely inept at raising children, it's the Spears family. They lost out to Kevin Federline.

I already made this joke a while ago, but I feel it is still necessary:
I bet a lamp post could win the custody battle against Federline.

Even if the lamp post was named Chris Benoit.
they film this Zoe 101 show at my work... hopefully now they'll all go away!!

well, she just killed any chance of stardom in the future. Maybe she'll skip the famous stage and go directly to the "deluge of negative publicity/why are we paying attention to this girl?" stage.

Condoms break. Birth control isn't 100%. I must have missed the part of the story where she said "I didn't use any precautions"

And you're right, just because someone can afford it doesn't mean they should. But with money, she can support it better than the average 16 year old.

And anyone judging her because of her last name is a fucking moron. Your mom and sister are bat shit crazy, so you must be too!
What's all this about unprotected sex? Were you there? Maybe the condom broke.... ? Never know.
maybe he snipped it so she would be forced into marriage!

There is like a 0.0002% chance of getting pregnant if you use a condom and the pill. I guess it's not 100% foolproof but I find it extremely hard to believe that this one particular time the swimmers broke through. I'd be willing to bet they either only used a condom (which is completely irresponsible on her part) or used nothing at all and if I had to pick I'd guess they used nothing at all.

You could have a vasectomy, she have tubal ligation, use a condom, spermicide, a IUD and pray to Santa Maria and still come out of it with a kid.

As much as I hate to echo conservative doctrine, abstaining is the only 100% sure way to go...unless Scott Baio gave you pink eye.

this is just what 16 year old girls do in KY

par for the course

at least J.L. is hot, unlike her fat, fug sister

i woulda popped a crescent roll in that oven myself, given the chance

I don't think anyone is in shock that a 16 year old is having sex, that is relatively accepted today, but the consequences of it are still not.

I'm thinking there's a sex tape somewhere and b/c of her last name it shall be blasted throughout the internet regardless of the underage nature.
I'm just waiting for the inevitable 'I got fired' post by you.
Not gonna happen. Now you might see a "I quit my job and got a better one" thread soon. The only way they can fire me is if I have sex with one of my students (not gonna happen), give drugs to one of my students (One teacher did a local high school near my school), or not have the proper certifications for contract renewal.

Does it really matter? She's under age period. Doesn't matter if both of them have consensual sex. He's over 18, she's not.

This reminds me of that one teacher in FL (Debra Lafave?) who had sex with one of her under age students and all she got was a slap on the wrist because she was hot, yet this other teacher has sex with a mexican boy, who runs away to mexico until the government bribes him into coming back to testify against the woman who raped him and gave him us citizenship for it.

Seriously this is some messed up shit.

I'll admit, this is amusing, but having sex with her boyfriend certainly doesn't make her a slut. Getting pregnant at 16 does make her stupid, though.

LA as in Louisiana.

Now here's some funny stuff.

THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER WAS RIGHT - back in late July, the National Enquirer was the first to report that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. They were promptly sued, even though now it seems they were correct (various sources say today she is much further along than the 12 weeks she claims). But awesome gets awesomer, as the NE is emailing people like me the angry letter they received when the story broke:

"Ms. Spears is a devout Christian with a spotless reputation, who lives in accordance with the highest moral and ethical standards in accordance with her faith.
There is no “rumor concerning Ms. Spears' (non-existent) pregnancy, except perhaps for the baseless rumor just now being created by the National Enquirer.
Ms. Spears is not pregnant. It is pathetic for the National Enquirer to attempt to create a wholly baseless rumor that Ms. Spears is pregnant, so it can run a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 16 year old girl."

Wait, so the National Enquirer was right once, and they got all defensive for someone printing a letter that turned out to be false? Whoa. "look at us! I can't believe they sent us this letter! Oh, and by the way, Tina Turner has herpes, Canada is sinking, the mayor took the cheeseburger, and Tom Selleck has three balls."
