I am looking for a good all region dvd player, preferably ntsc / pal compatible, and I know that some of them even have VHS players in them, which would be a plus. Many sites look sketchy, and I have no idea for a reliable brand or dealer. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have that Philips dvd player, and it rocks. I've imported stuff from the UK and never had a problem playing stuff after putting in the region code. Also, the ability to play divx files off a cd or dvd is pretty nice.

Supports NTSC and PAL, does Divx video and can be made reigion free by doing the following steps:
1. Turn on the player.
2. Open the tray.
3. Press the following sequence on the remote:
7 8 9 OK 0
4. The number 0 will appear on the lower left side of your screen.
5. Your player is now region free! Put in a DVD and enjoy! :)

[/QUOTE]Mine quit reading DVDs a while back, after maybe 6 months of use. Well, it still works once in a great while, but I've stopped trying.

I want a fuckin' Oppo.
