Best Bet for Rock Band?

I'm interested in picking up Rock Band. I've heard that I should go with the Rock Band 2 instruments because they're better than the first game's. Looking online it seems that it's a pain to ship it so would I be better off searching for it at a B&M? If so, which one?

Oh, I'm looking for it on the PS3.
 
Try Fry's, Target, and Walmart for cheap guitar alternatives, maybe gamestop would have cheap drums. Target, Walmart, and TRU seem to have the big bundle on sale for under $100 a couple times a year. Where do you live? I might be selling Rock Band 2 disc/mic/guitars. I have two or three guitar controllers, but like you said, shipping could be a bitch. I lost my drum dongle (my whole reason for playing) so now all my RB stuff has just been sitting around. RB2 is much better (the instrument quality is better/drums don't make as much noise). They are both awesome party/multiplayer games though.
