Best blu-ray home theater

CAGiversary!
Im looking for a good sorround sound/home theater blu ray player for my 32in Samsung. I was also wondering if there would be a way to hook it up to my Xbox 360 while I play on it. Thanks!

What's your price range? Assuming your 360 has an HDMI output, look for a Home Theater in a Box (HTiB) that has HDMI inputs that accept audio and video from a source. You can get an HDMI cable very cheaply.

Go to CNET.COM and read reviews 'home theater in a box' are great options Onkyo makes some great HTIB I have the older onkyo HTS-670? it absolutely pumps!

Yep, go with an Onkyo...hands down. I had a Yamaha with 5 speakers and a subwoofer, I had to upgrade my receiver for 3D pass through, and I went with an Onkyo. It made every speaker I had, and my amp, sound so much better.

I think I'll probably stay with Onkyo for receivers from now on, they're that good. I'd go with them for a HtiB, from what I hear even their entry-level HTiB's are better than a lot of mid-level build-your-own home theater sets.

If you have a smaller space, you may also consider a sound bar. Sony has a pretty decent one that is under $250 and has "virtual" 5.1 and 3 HDMI inputs. It works very well if you dont have a big room.

I also have onkyo, but its a complete "seperate" system with cerwin vega speakers. I think I have like 5 HDMI's, full 3d ect. ect.
