This is correct I misread this as a quote from Eddie Makuch but it is just a forum member. My apologies it is no more accurate then what has been said already.
I suppose giving a release date for ps4 before its out on xbone really defeats the purpose of making it a timed exclusive.

They've said its like 5 times larger than Skyrim or something to that effect. Its an obnoxiously large open world game in any case. My thing is, will it be a giant world teeming with humans and creatures or will it just be a bunch of vast, pretty empty areas like Dragon Age Inquisition.

If this is what you are planning on doing, I'd make sure you pick up your game early. It won't matter how early you preordered, if you wait a day or two to pick it up. When it's special items like this BB seems to hand them out to everyone that buys the game. Like the can cuzzi with Sunset Overdrive and the Map Book with Halo: MCC, most people that did instore preorder didn't even get them. If you preorder online it's a guarantee(it shows up in your cart as a item).

yeah, when i preordered the arkham origin game with steelbook bonus, they set the steelbook with the game aside for me with my name on the sticker for it with a rubber band

If the steelbook appears on the order confirmation, it will likely be held for you. If it doesn't appear on your confirmation and you are planning on showing up and asking for it, that's gonna be a huge YMMV. In fact, it's more likely than not that you won't receive the steelbook as BB seems to be pretty tight with limiting the quantity to stores to reflect only preorders for which a steelbook was confirmed. Sadly, those of us who preordered the CE are unlikely to receive the second steelbook as it never appeared on our confirmations because it wasn't added until long after the CE sold out.

 
Just issued a Cert from points and the expiration date is April 23, 2016. Is this normal now? I always issue right before I use them, but I had thought they expired 90 days later or close to that.

I pre-ordered it in store Saturday and my receipt doesn't say anything about a steel book case even though it's supposed to come with it. Not worried about it though as I'm sure it'll be fine.

My order hasn't shipped either, I wanted to cancel it so I could buy the version from the store but it wouldn't let me  :wall: I have the day off tomorrow might go ahead and buy it from the store and then return the mailed copy

 
I wasn't even considering pre ordering MK X until the new list of games with $10 reward certs came out. However, placed an order for in-store pick up early Sunday morning. Now I'm hyped for the game. Thinking if I should pick it up tonight at 9:01 pm PT too.

I know stores are open at 9pm on the west coast but aren't we not allowed to leave until midnight? I was thinking about skipping the midnight launch now but I'd go if I could pick it up at 9.

Hmm I didn't even think about that. I've never been to a midnight launch at BBY before. I'm hoping it's just pick up the game at 9 and leave because everyone else wants to go home too.

I'd rather install game/download patch tonight and get a few rounds in, instead of tomorrow.

 
I just bought GCU last week...I guess I could get another 2 years with the moral kombat deal. IDK maybe I shouldn't. I have no interest in the game.

 
My MKX has been sitting at UPS for "4 days" it says (I've tracked it where it left a state to come to my state), it's like they schedule things to make sure I didn't get a Monday copy :(

Says I'll have it tomorrow by 5-7pm... le sigh.

Nobody got the can coozie because they were all shipped to my stores. GCU even works on them. :)

 
I've been having a site issue with Bestbuy.com for the last few days where I cant add anything to my cart...looks like no MKX preorder bonus for me :(  Yeah its a bit late now but I didnt decide I wanted it for sure till this past weekend.

 
My buddy is supposed to get this for me for my birthday, which is tomorrow.

I don't think I can wait. Should I cave and get it tonight from BBY? Can return or trade in when I get the gift copy..

i wasn't going to preorder mk X, but i was doing some house work, and cleaning up my room. i found like close to $100 bb gift card  in my desk drawer from flipping/credit transfer from last year. so i did, and i also preordered gta v for pc as well

I just picked up a copy of SO that I ordered for store pickup when it was $19.99 (15.99 GCU) recently, and to my surprise, a can coozie was attached to the copy they had reserved for me. I was particularly surprised because I didn't receive a coozie when I pre-ordered from that store.

I don't follow this thread and I'm sure this has been addressed before BUT How long after the game(s) ships do you receive the $10 cert?

My copy of GTA V on PC left out this morning for CO. I didn't realize it was eligible for this offer.

It's random as hell in my experience. Sometimes I'll get the points the day after I pick up the game, sometimes I don't get the points until 15 days after.

Really depends when you preordered the game. If you preordered awhile ago, chances are you'll receive it in the next 3-4 days. If you waited till last week to preorder, it'll probably be 10-14 days.

From my experience, the earlier you preorder, the earlier you get the bonus Cert. A game recently, most of us had the Bonus the day after release I believe.
 
Do you have to pay the full amount if you pre-order online? Was going to pre-order Mortal Kombat X tonight and pick it up in-store to get the gamer's club unlocked with it. Was wondering if you could do $5 dollars down first.
