What is added in the deluxe edition?
 
junk honestly right now, three extra weapons (which you can probably unlock by playing) and a couple of "emotes".  they will probably add something like battlepacks down the road, they did it for BF4 and Hardline.

On the other hand at best buy it only adds $8 extra due to GCU

 
Woooohooo so pumped for battlefront. Really hoping for a CE but seems doubtful since they would have announced it today with all the other news.
 
OMG good job Best Buy! they were slacking the past 5 months or so, but this recent wave of additions makes GCU so worth it! lol too bad they didn't think add a bunch of titles people actually want before they reduced their GCU price to $30 permanently.

 
With all of these games coming up with a $10 bonus and an unexpected purchase popping up for me (Guitar Hero or Rock Band), I'm going to need to stock up on some more BB credit!  :whistle2:

 
Yeah, the extras in that Battlefront Deluxe Edition sound like garbage. If they put up some sort of Super Deluxe Edition with a statue or something, then I'm probably in.

Yea unfortunately it's what EA's been doing more and more recently (DA:I, Hardline), include some digital items rather than anything of real value

 
Pre-ordering Battlefront may be bad idea depending how the Black friday price is.  I hoping it goes like previous years and I can snag Battlefront for $30 or less for PC.  I think the Ad leaks will be even out before the game is released, so you know exactly what to do.

If it's anything like last year most Black Friday deals will suck for new games, especially ones with the $10 preorder deal.
 
Damn the last MK got a $10 cert and $10 instant gc this one gets $10/$15 although GCU needs to be figured in too. Can't really understand how BB wasn't able to extend the $10 to more titles w/o assistance from publishers if they'd charge $120.
 
Might grab this for Xbox One but I am weary of the content included on disc. $48 with $10GC is more tempting than the darkside of the force....

 
So far the only game I want from that list at a possible day one purchase is Battleborn. Everything else I'll wait for deals. Now add Rock Band 4 and I'm all in...
 
I really hope nobody thinks that trailer is how Battlefront will actually look.

Like, I don't doubt that it's using real assets but so much of what makes it look great is the animation, and games just aren't at that point yet, unfortunately. The most high-res textures and dopest explosions only go so far when every player character is running around all herky-jerky.

As much as I want the game and this is tempting but come on, its a dice and ea game, someone would (Not you, I know you said its a bad idea to pre order) be stupid to pre order it. In a couple months it will be half price in a sale and by then they will have a good amount of the inevitable bugs fixed.

Ill just wait for the battlefront complete edition that will happen with the DLC they start shitting out left and right. By then the game should be stable.

The deluxe edition they are charging 10 bucks more for is laughable and just tells me waiting is the best idea.

10 dollar certificate is nice, but Ill save more just by being patient.

Just checked my account and the $10 certs for MK X and GTA V (PC) are already in! I definitely prefer waiting just one week as opposed to two...

Battlefront will go on sale at some point in time. The longer you wait the more you'll get with it and the less you'll pay - seems to be the trend with all games. I, on the other hand, prefer to experience the game at release and I usually don't even play the extra addons or DLC. If the game is awesome, I trade it in and get the digital download (to game share). If it sucks, I still trade it in and get most (if not all after GCU and $10 cert) of the credit back to apply toward the next preorder. To each his own but it's certainly not "stupid" to pre order something that you want and when Best Buy is giving some great incentives to do it.

I want to get Shadow of Mordor this week, and am planning to get Batman. If I pre-order Batman, I get free shipping on SoM. If I order SoM seperately, it's $4 to ship.

Not that I plan to, but if I ordered SoM with Batman in the same order, can I cancel Batman down the line?

Well, you can cancel individual items, and this trick works on Amazon. I dont think they can charge you again after the order. Id put my money on it working.

Already have witcher 3 and batman preordered, thinking of using my 10 dollar cert on borderlands for ps4 if it goes on sale anytime soon

 
So Witcher 3 has been showing that standard shipping will get it to me on the release date for a while. So far, everything else I've ordered has been Express shipping. Anyone know if standard will indeed work, or if I should just do instore pickup instead?

Standard should work, just make sure you order well in advanced. I wouldn't worry about the type of shipping, I'd just worry about the delivery date.

Alright. I've only put it off this long because I was hoping at some point Express would become available, but now it's a month out so I figured I'd have to decide on a COA (course of action) now.

Yea I order all my games online with shipping. Before I was Elite Plus, every game had standard shipping, but I still received them on release. In the past year or so I've ordered over 30 games, and only two were late arriving.
 
Know it's not quite the right thread to ask but is anyone getting Witcher 3 day digital? I'm really considering it because I know it's a game im going to want to play for a long time.
 
I really hate the Witcher 3 NO-DRM if not purchased on Steam and Min requirements for PC.  I'm still stuck on which to get (PC v PS4).  Everyone says DRM's are stupid, but I'd rather have my games on steam than on a CD that sits in my computer all day...

The minimum requirements for the CPU is i5-2500k (GPU - 780 Classified)...I have that but have it OC'd.  If I cant play on at least HIGH then I would rather have it on PS4.

They need to be more precise and forthcoming if they want preorders

buy on PS4/xbone through best buy for $10 cert, wait 3 months for fixes on PC and price drops.  can play and trade in on PS4 during that time and rebuy for the legacy collection (aka steam) when it drops to $10-20

witcher 3 does also have like a year of DLC content being squeezed out slowly so its not a bad game to own digitally.  i agree with you about the no DRM shit though, i don't care about uplay/origin/steam but I've never used the DVD player on my PC and will not be starting anytime soon.  its on steam/origin/uplay or i ain't buying it.

I was wondering myself why both The Witcher 3 and Batman are only showing expedited shipping (I'm elite plus). State of decay X1 releases on the 28th and has the express option . I'm not sure if the express shipping becomes available closer to release date as I normally pre order 2 weeks or less from the release date. I was debating on waiting to see if express option shows up for The Witcher but at the same time I don't want to wait too long and risk missing out on the steel book .

It says "expedited, receive by May 19" which is the release date. So why not just go with expedited?

As a cd check is DRM and all.
