I see they added the points to my vanilla copy I ordered the night it came out, and not the LE I ordered months ago.

Just need them to post fully. Then I have $30 in rewards and $20 from coins to spend.

yea I pre ordered witcher 3 online for shipping because I did it late and couldn't do it in store but then went in store and purchased a copy on release day. The Cert points should've went with the first online pre order but they went to the one I purchased I release day (which wasn't a pre order).

Only thing I can think of is that the second one I purchased was a dollar something more due to tax which is why I think they attached it to that order instead of the first online pre order.

that, and the fact that it doesn't come out until after black friday (12/1), means that there won't probably be any good deals on it right way...too bad.

 
For those that ordered Arkham Knight, did you guys receive the pre-order code via email?

Usually I get mine within a couple of hours, but I still haven't received it and I had picked it up Tuesday.

still no batman points for me. This is the longest points have taken to hit my account and nothing even pending. Something tells me its because of the 50% glitch that I used to purchase. I certainly won't complain if I don't get it.

 
does it matter if you preorder in store or online for in store pick up in terms of problems with getting the certificate? I want to preorder GOW ultimate since t hey are giving away $10 rewards certificate

I always preorder online for in store pick up and always get the $10 cert if that helps
 
Great! Now I have no reason to get gears at the microsoft store as long as I can transfer the credit over. Another good reason is that I'm not that into it. Yay buying things!

 
It was fellow cag, Enuf, that explained the way preorder bonus points work. He said that, as long as the game is preordered, you have the first week to purchase the game and you get the points. Even if you return and rebuy it for any reason, as long as it's within the first week of release, you get the 500 bonus points.

Not true. I preordered Witcher 3 for in store pickup and did a return/rebuy to use a GC and I didn't get the 500 points. Had to go on the forums to resolve it.

So you're saying you got the Victory can be preordered bonus points right? And they did that because you complained or because you did exactly as I mentioned earlier. Missing points is a such a common issue that there's a link on the the top of the points page to file a complaint aboutyour missing points.

My point is, preorder and buy the preordered game within the first week and you qualify to get the points. If the points don't post, that's a seperate issue.

Just pointing out that it is not automatic and people should be prepared to have to call in or post on the forums as needed.

I believe it all depends on how the return/rebuy is handled. With Watchdogs, I ordered online with in store pick up, but when I picked up, had to change payment to cash and still received the bonus. If they treat it as a return I believe you won't get the bonus automatically but if they do a even exchange, you should be good.

In reality as long as you preorder before release and purchase the game the same week it's released, you'll be fine. That's why sometimes it doesn't pop on the same transaction you preordered the game. There's been times I preordered and also picked up a second copy, and normally it goes on the copy I picked up and didn't preorder.

If you preorder in advanced then yes. Don't preorder 5 days before release and expect it to arrive on release day though. I normally order 3-4 weeks in advanced and the last release I didn't get at launch was Madden. BB has been getting a lot better with shipping preorders IMO.

Is it just me or does it look like they took gears of war ultimate edition off the list? Its not on the official list, the landing page, or the actual game page. They took all the banners down. Looks like I may be canceling my preorder 

 
It's not showing Gears of War on there today. I just checked the other day and it was on there. Do you think they took it down?

I used that link, and it's listed still. Going to go ahead and pre-order now before they change their minds completely. If nothing else will have to call after it comes out to get my certificate.

I ordered using the glitch as well and they showed up out of no where yesterday.

 
still haven't gotten my batman points. I do have a question for anyone that has used the Bestbuy CC. I used the CC for my copy of Batman, a Wii U and 2 other games. I used the 12 months financing option which said was interest free but wouldn't give me the 5% extra on points. On the rest of my order I show 0 pending points. Will I still get the normal amount of points for making a purchase or does the 0% interest cancel out the entire allotment of points, not just the extra %?

From that comment it sounds like the game won't be part of the $10 promo and they messed up when they added it. If I can convince the fools at microsoftstore.com to allow me to use my promotional $25 GC on the pre-order of this game that would solve the dilemma of where I will pre-order it, but things like this seem to keep the waters muddy...

Goddammit, I pre-ordered it as soon as I saw that it was part of the promo. I'd have gone the microsoft route instead (I get 15000 points = $15 that way).

I am going to cancel my pre-order and go to MS store.
