Really? Sounds like it could get to be monotonous after a handful of hours. Like it's one giant fetch quest. Both reviews said the story pretty much sucks. I'm thinking of canceling my preorder after work.

Praying to the Best Buy gods that Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter 5 get added to the pre-order promotion. Im planning on buying both collectors editions from them and getting an extra $20 would be nice.

Don't hold your breath. The last Sony exclusive to be part of this promo was The Last of Us...on PS3.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I do not have this game preordered. I am waiting for reviews - but I always like reading fellow gamer impressions. And there are a few of them in the MM OT thread on NeoGAF right now.

 
Decided to pre-order Mad Max after thinking it over for a bit. Haven't played a MGS game yet surprisingly ( still have GZ on my download list on my PS4).

Complain about culture differences if you like, but NFL and ripping people's heads off is more popular here than the rather "quirky" Metal Gear. Bro gamers drive those sales, and the bizarre MG storyline just isn't bro-tastic like Call of Duty where the story line is a side note. Snake needs to do more fist bumps and high fives and make the single player game an after-thought compared to the online multi-player, then it might stand a chance. But of course Konami is going mobile, so MGS6 will probably be iPhone free to play, with lots of paid content.

I like Mortal Kombat, but haven't gotten a Madden game in 20 years so I cannot really justify it other than just state it just happens.

Yeah that's what I thought too, will have to check it out tomorrow. Although buying something off BestBuy.com might be tricky to do a return/rebuy at the store, since they're considered separate entities. May have to call in.

I kinda agree, really, I was more concerned with it being backordered for a prolonged period of time. I don't particularly care if it gets here tomorrow or wednesday or whatever, but I also have a job so I couldn't play it a bunch immediately anyway.

Holy crap that's a lot of points. I didn't know the BB credit card bonus points was counted as separate from the regular points you normally get.

Man I was looking forward to mad max so much but I'm gonna pass and just get forza instead. I feel like it'll be too much like sunset overdrive and dying light were for me, super boring just cuz of the point a to b repetitive stuff

Yea that's why I use it and just pay it off at the end of the month. For a normal $60/$48 game that's not a part of this promo, I get about 190. 690 if it gets the bonus Cert. That's almost an extra $5 back per game.
