My 500 points are already in my account for at least the last 2 days since I noticed. I ordered Halo on August 30. Also received the REQ pack email around 1:30 am EST on launch day.

Ok, thanks. The last thing I preordered was GTA, so I couldn't remember how long it took for the bonus points to show as pending.

And now I need to decide if I should just take my Forza bundle back to best buy over the store (and mess with my planned return/rebuy next week) or deal with MS over the broken controller.

My 500 points still aren't showing, and I had to PM them on Unboxed to get my REQ pack.

I'm thinking part of the problem is that I purchased the game on the 26th and not the 27th.

The point is that they shouldn't be charging me the 20 anyway, just because I didn't pick up a free item that was added automatically. It's a glitch in their system. No idea why you're being such an asshole about this.

I totally forgot about Halo 5. I was confused as to why I had 500 points pending when 500 just got added to the points for Syndicate lol. Derp.

So I'm going to cancel my :xb1: Tomb Raider preorder since I decided to go with :ps4: Fallout 4 due to the Gold bundle. Since I'm skipping TR now, I'll just wait for :ps4: GOTY edition.

Anyways, I used 7 gift cards on that because I preordered 3 games in it. This is going to be fun seeing where the credit goes.

Cause I was going to wait for the :ps4: version at the time because I already had a lot to play. Then in July I changed my mind and chose it over FO4. Then a week ago, I changed my mine again.

the Best Buy Defense Squad here is pretty astounding. GCU is great despite their shitty overall service, it's not like they're actually a decent company. Last time I had an issue with not getting a preorder item, it took about 5 emails and 4 weeks, with many responses having absolutely nothing to do with what I was contacting them about.

on topic: I forgot RotTR is coming out on the same day Fallout does. Sorry, Fallout, you'll have to wait.

It really took that long to get a preorder bonus? The one time I didn't get the preorder code, I posted on the Unboxed forums like everyone suggests. I received the code in a PM within 6-8 hrs.
 
Traded in Halo5 43.50 is a great deal for such a short campaign, don't play MP, so BB is killing it with Day one game $37 then trade it back for 43.50, so far Mad Max and Halo5 done this with, now put the $ toward COD3, because I'm sure that campaign is real short.

My Halo points posted last night finally.  Had ordered the LCE during the 50% off glitch.  Really wish I had done the disc exchange now though since I already finished the campaign :wall:

Your preordering too late. The sooner you preorder the faster your bonus points come. I tend to preorder all games 3-4 weeks in advanced. The past 3 games, I had the bonus the day after release.

Anyone think Tomb Raider might be cheaper on Black Friday? I have too many charges coming Nov 6th-10th so not trying to add to it.

It wasn't quite that late and lasted like five or six hours if I remember right. I really don't think too many did that though. At least no one posted they did. Seemed like we were all scrambling to get what we could.

Now I've wound up selling about 70% of what I ordered since I wound up not wanting it by the time it's come out. It's really too bad a number of things, like Fallout, went up for pre-order like a week later.
 
I got pretty much all the xbox one preorders plus MKX w/$10GC, Splatoon, Codename Steam, Puzzles Dragons, and a 2nd copy of Halo5.
I did order 2 copies of FF15 for my brother and me.
I forgot I preordered Halo back in November along with Tomb Raider & Quantum Break in the B2G1 preorder glitch.

I'm almost 100% sure nobody was thinking about reselling any games at the time. We were all in self gratifying mode and preordered our wish list of games that early morning.

Much credit should be given to Eldritch for the discovery and breakdown of the "Skylanders" glitch.
 
Question:

My reward certs on Best Buy keep changing. I went from $15 down to $10 without having spend any of my certs(and they didn't expire either), and then when I got Halo it went from $10 to $25(I was only a few points away from another $5 cert, plus the $10 cert from Halo 5) and then I checked today and it went back down to $20, and it says I'm a few points away from the $5 cert again, just like it did before Halo shipped.

Anyone have any idea wtf is going on?

My 500 points for Halo just popped up as pending this morning, and got my preorder REQ code too.  Now to wait for them to update the ad so we can get clarification on this free game deal with Xbox console deal.

 
Grr. Disappointed Yokai Watch won't give me a $10 preorder bonus, but at least I guess getting half off (+GCU) of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is alright.

Your points will automatically convert to $5 certificates if you have it set that way. Check to see if they are in the section with the issued certificates and they will have an expiration date probably 2 months from now. Or check your transaction history, it's pretty good at showing all your purchases and exactly how many points earned on each one.
