That should be tied to my phone #, as that's the only information they ask for at the store level for a trade-in, plus my ID. It's been that way before 01/01/16 and after 01/01/16, so there's been no process change at the store level so this has to be a back-end issue that isn't working right.

I think he's saying the BB rep is a tool because the ID is obviously already tied to the transaction, otherwise you would be seeing zero points instead of half the points.

PS: Noticed the one trade in I've made this year is also missing the bonus points. Sounds like a pain to deal with something that should be a non issue but I'm sure I'll get around to it.

Go into your My BB account on BB.com, look up Rewards and then Rewards History. Scroll through the list of the last 90 days, screen-shot the trade-ins showing the items and the points, then put them into an email and send it to them via email. That's what I did for the 4 trade-ins I had post-01/01/16 and the one pre-01/01/16, where it showed bonus points pre-01/01/16 and nothing post-01/01/16.

He's saying that, yes, though I posted back in that thread to say something is broken in-between phone # and My BB Member ID, which is why the points aren't doubling up.

This is subsidized by publishers to make people pre-order and buy the game day 1. That's why Sony never puts their games on these lists because they have to pay for it. Best Buy covers the 20% because it's their loyalty program, but a deal with publishers has to be made for the 500 free points.

 
In all fairness I said first that I doubt anyone at the store level knows anything.

I stand by my other point that lately their deals have not been very great over all and their trade values have been lackluster.

To this day, I still don't know what Overwatch even is. Maybe I'll look sometime before May. I'll be all over getting DOOM, might even get the LE statue. I'll be passing on UC4, as I haven't played the others. The first month or so of my PS4 ownership will probably be an exclusive buffet of baseball, then I might get The Nathan Drake Collection, if I have nothing else to play. Batlleborn was a dumb mess in the beta, I though. I felt that they made little effort to express what you were even doing. Since there are so many FPS options on my XB1's HDD and coming this year, I will pass.

Pipe dream, I don't think an PS4 exclusive has ever been on the list.

I figured if I didn't dig the game I could easily flip it for $45 off craigslist and get a free rental out of it. Although I think there is both open beta for both Battleborn and Overwatch around the corner.

 
I honestly didn't know what Overwatch was so I looked up some gameplay and that is definitely a pass for me. The 3 games on the list so far are a pass unfortunately.

Just give me Mirrors Edge Catalyst and Deux Ex MD and I'm good. Shit I'll just take one.

It is basically like team fortress and even has a cartoony art direction with more "heroes" so it has that dota element rather than normal engineer/heavy/scout classes.
