Best Buy- $3 off $9.99+ CD, DVD or video game after coupon

While wandering through a Jo-Ann Fabrics with the gf, I noticed a Best Buy coupon the back of a bag of Chex mix. I paid my $2 to be treated with this coupon for $3 off any CD, DVD or video game regularly priced at $9.99 or more.

I was all whoa, if I used this coupon, it's like me paying them negative $1 assuming I buy one of said items from BB. I hate Chex mix to begin with, so I took the hit right there and then.

Then it hit me like a car driven by a celebrity- what if a fellow CAG really wants a game that costs $9.99 and they have only $8? What if they purchase the Chex mix for $2, and are left with only $6- that's not adequate to purchase their desired $6.99 after coupon game. They lack an entire ninety-nine cents, and the high likeliness of tax involved in states such as mine (SoCal for life, bitches) may run their funding even lower.

So here, I give you the scanned coupon ripped from a foil bag of Chex mix. This is for the ones who have $7+tax, but not the extra $3 necessary to buy their game. We love you guys, man.

No, that's a scan. The material is horrendously uneven.
 
While it's my duty to frown upon scanned coupons, try laying a heavy book on it and leave the scanner lid open. That may flatten it some.

I'm sure someone Photoshop-capable can even out the irregularities of that foil. If that's no good, then just print the coupon in black and white and crumple before use.
 
Are people really going to try using this no offense but its clearly not a printed coupon... then again... ... well anyways you'd probably be best off taping the edges of the coupon very carefully & stretch it out taped down onto scanner. Then also cover with book.

Good looking out dj. In my experiences, BB cashiers don't really give a crap, so this could very well pass...assuming the UPC will scan.
 
it says not good in combination with any other coupons or offers. The key word there is other. is it possible to combine 20 of em to basically get a free game?

Its not like they're going to say, no, you're trying to rob the store. If it scans and works they won't care. Nice if you BB actually has some good $9.99 frontline games.

lol that is another offer, even if it is the same offer twice. BB is fantastic about not letting people stack coupons.

djkunai, I probably won't use the coupon, but damned if I didn't get some enjoyment reading the original post. Thanks for going that extra mile -- both in coupon-scanning and creative writing!
 
If i could gt a clearer scan of the barcode with the lines being darker, i could certainly get creative....:lol:

I've had one of them in my wallet for 2 weeks. I have a bag of Chex mix everyday at work. They're only $1.35 where I get them.

I meant to use it today on PGR4, but didn't remember until I was putting away my credit card.
 
Strangest thing, I was in my school's student union and there was one of these coupons taped on the wall. I figure somebody saw it on their bag, figured they didn't have a use for it and was nice enough to put it out for somebody who could use it. Pretty cool.
 
well, is the chex mix at best buy too? cause the coupon says right on it No Copies and I don't have a foil printer.
