Hmmm, been meaning to re-buy Gangs of New York after losing my dvd copy (wasn't a fan of the disc exchange anyways). Thanks for posting the info here, Taco5.

I blind bought a used copy for $8 at a local store and was still upset with the purchase. Not a terrible movie by any means, but I have no want to ever watch it again.

It wasn't horrible, but I thought it was wildy inconsistent. I personally thought it was well-cast, but it wasn't any more than a rental for me, probably due to the zero replay value.

OT: Guess I will pick up DH pt. 2. Target can PM that $15, right?

Just got done watching it. Yes.
Its filmed like The Social Network but with diseases. Not your typical "pandemic/disaster movie",
it's more of a quiet chaos. Very different than what the trailers make it look like.
If you like movies that aren't stupid and don't treat you like your stupid, then you'll probably like it.
My favorite thing about it - a neat little cyberpunkesque synth score, very cool.

Clint Mansell always delivers a solid score. If you don't know his other work, seek it out. THE FOUNTAIN and MOON are especially great.
 
Man, I really want Party Down on Blu-Ray, but I'm guessing that's never going to happen. I might have to just suck it up and buy the DVDs at this price.

Of course the Best Buy ad neglects to mention that 'Take Shelter' releases this week...which is above and beyond the best film hitting DVD and Blu-ray all month.
 
Picked up HP: DH pt. 2 for $10 with a reward cert. Thanks for posting the ad, I have been looking for a deal on that movie for a long time!
