Well, I read this in another forum (DVDtalk.com)

I think if you buy Spiderman 2 Superbit, and another Superbit, you get one FREE!!!!

Be sure they ring the MOST expensive one up last, since supposedly that defaults to the free one.

Good deal for anyone interested in SuperBits. I may or may not do this....we'll see.

In-Store.....I think they have a little yellow tag on the shelf....so it may be YMMV, but appears to be national.
 
Yeah, and Spiderman (1st one) is $14.99 for the Superbit, so...if the cashier is not wise, get Spiderman 1/2 for $15 & $18 and get the third free

$33.xx for 3 Superbits is GREAT

Although, I already own most of the regular versions of the movies, and the SuperBit do not warrant a major upgrade for me, since the movies are not my FAVS.

I do want SpiderMan 2...so who knows....maybe I will do it.
 
Well, anyone pick up some SuperBits yet? I think may do this....even if I don't keep the other two, I can sell them online and basically get a free movie.

Superbits seems to be for $17-$20 on HALF.com

I just want SpiderMan 2 superbit....that's it
 
Is this advertised,... because I can't find a shred of evidence.

I really want to buy these, but before I drive out there, I need to know if it's confirmed, and not YMMV.

Online mentions nothing of this sort.

Well, it's an In-Store promotion. A thread on DVDtalk.com has a whole discussion on it. I think Best Buy has those little yellow tags in the aisles stating the sale. I may have to check too today.....

You can never find Superbits cheap anymore.

Black Hawk Down was supposed to ring up $20.99 but the cashier marked it as the free DVD instead of Spider-Man. Three Superbits for $34.96 isn't that bad at all. Thanks again for posting.

It is a cleaner version of the release.

The picture quality is I believe, 24 bit.

Don't quote me on that.
I just know that it looks a sheot load better than a standard release.

Thats what the Superbit insert says! I think the picture quality is better than anything with the exception of a true HD channel, like espnhd or hdnet and hdmoviechannel. At $10 to $14 each this is a good deal. IMHO unless you have a progressive scan dvd player and HD tv, dont waste your money!

It isn't advertised anywhere in BB.
I even asked 3 media guys,... and they turned me away, saying that that was absurd.

Finally, the 3rd guy asked at CS,.. and they told him it was valid.

Then I proceeded to have the media guy run me a search for in stock SUPERBITs.

I had to walk around the store a bit & think about it, because I've bought a few movies lately, but in the end I couldn't resist. ;) I walked away with:

Spiderman 2
Underworld
Snatch

The cashier is looking at SM2 and goes "Is this the movie?" I told her yes, and explained to her that it was the higher quality release. She replies "Oh, because I haven't seen this case before". Nice of BB to push the high-quality movies as they shovel those HD TVs out they door, eh? ;)
 
Yep, this deal was great....I picked up my 3 SuperBits on Friday.

I may sell Spider-Man & StarShip Troopers though to just get a FREE DVD basically. (I already own the regular versions of each other....besides SM2...keeping that one)
