I figured that by the time I got home from work this would have already been posted with the list, but it looks like I should have brought the list home with me. Best Buy is putting a ton of slower-moving games on clearance starting Monday Sept. 12th. Prices ranged from .99-9.99, with most being 4.99, and included games for all systems.

FAQ:

When does the sale being?
The sale begins on MONDAY SEPT 12th when bestbuy opens

Is the sale also online?
no one knows for sure, often bb keeps prices the same, but like i said, this isnt a guarantee. some people are ordering online now and hoping to pricematch later, again, this isnt a guarantee.

Why are people saying they are getting games now, when the sale dosent start until monday?
some people are buying games ahead of time for full price and going back later to get a price adjustment on the games.

BB.com says the games are out of stock in stores around me, is that reliable?
no, its not reliable, it might be right, or it might not, this is from first hand experiance i had today (going to BB then checking avaliability of games i knew where on the shelves when i got home..)

Should i call and ask about the sale?
no, very rarely is calling and asking about a big unadvertised sale a good idea. it can tip off employees that the sale is even going on, also some empolyees might know about it and might have been told to deny it, and some might have no clue at all.

Will the $5 off coupon work on these games? (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58353)
that will be YMMV, the coupon says in black and white, excludes clearance items, so if you get shot down dont cry about it.

These are the games I wanted as well. $10 each is good enough for me considering I don't have a BB anywhere near me and have to jump on online deals such as these.

Bard's Tale I wanted also but i'm not gonna pay $10 for it, because i havent played a role playing game in years and i might not like it.

The other 2 games i wanted are $4.99 but i cant add them to my fuckin cart! :(
 
Yeah, I just checked some of the prices online. MK: Deception is the Kollector's Edition for $10. \\:D/ Games that I wanted including MechAssault 2, Incredibles, Midway Arcade 2, and Bard's Tale for Xbox are $9.99 instead of the stated $4.99. :bs:Weird. Well, half off is better than nothing off - but it is a little disappointing. Still, $10 isn't bad. Some games listed on the BB site online like Megaman X and Incredibles are already sold out. I just need to call the 1-800 number and get a price adjustment for my order.

Aww fuck it. I can't get anything to come up. What will be will be and I'll just try my luck tomorrow. But as is shown on BB's website, no BB in Vegas has Mr Driller (one of my main wants), Ys, or Growlanser.
 
Called to get my price adjust on Growlanser and Ys... the CSR confirmed they were both 9.99, and told me it's being sent to the research team. She gave me a reference number, and told me they will contact me in 2 to 3 business days. She told me I would get a $30 dollar credit back to my card on each game as soon as the research team does it.

I kind of wish I didn't get second day air now... I wasn't sure if the website would drop, or I would be around for it, so I got them shipped that way in case I had to go in store.

Still, 19 dollars a piece for Ys and Growlanser is still a hell of a deal, I won't argue there. Boo to the games that were supposed to be 4.99 showing up as 9.99 though.

But that mess with the cart... I'm glad I ordered way ahead of time. Hell, my games are already shipped :D

I'll just buy Silent Hill 2 used at EBgames.com for $8.50 and call it a day. I've never played a Silent Hill games since the first one so i should play 2 b4 4 anyway.
