I figured that by the time I got home from work this would have already been posted with the list, but it looks like I should have brought the list home with me. Best Buy is putting a ton of slower-moving games on clearance starting Monday Sept. 12th. Prices ranged from .99-9.99, with most being 4.99, and included games for all systems.

FAQ:

When does the sale being?
The sale begins on MONDAY SEPT 12th when bestbuy opens

Is the sale also online?
no one knows for sure, often bb keeps prices the same, but like i said, this isnt a guarantee. some people are ordering online now and hoping to pricematch later, again, this isnt a guarantee.

Why are people saying they are getting games now, when the sale dosent start until monday?
some people are buying games ahead of time for full price and going back later to get a price adjustment on the games.

BB.com says the games are out of stock in stores around me, is that reliable?
no, its not reliable, it might be right, or it might not, this is from first hand experiance i had today (going to BB then checking avaliability of games i knew where on the shelves when i got home..)

Should i call and ask about the sale?
no, very rarely is calling and asking about a big unadvertised sale a good idea. it can tip off employees that the sale is even going on, also some empolyees might know about it and might have been told to deny it, and some might have no clue at all.

Will the $5 off coupon work on these games? (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58353)
that will be YMMV, the coupon says in black and white, excludes clearance items, so if you get shot down dont cry about it.

Yep. Same thing with my version of Firefox (1.0.6) - Damn webpages and their lack of compliance with W3C standards...

Edit: upon further inspection this may not be correct. I was just able to add a few games to my cart and edit the cart's contents with Firefox
 
How the hell are some of you adding stuff to your cart? I only get about half of the page loaded up before I start seeing html code displayed on the page.
 
I've had the 4 games I wanted in my cart all night. I go to update and get nothing. That had to anticipate a rush on their site. Yet here we are...

Thats what i did too. Was beautiful to see the price go from 280 to 70 when i refreshed. Was relieved when i got my email order confirmation of my order.

Managed to nab Twin Snakes (listed as $9.99 though, not $4.99) and MTX Mototrax. Wish I could have nabbed Sega Superstars but I'll live. I'm just happy I got MGS.

Wow this must be my lucky day, um night. I have had absolutely no problems with the cart. In fact, I logged out and then logged back in to get Growlancer. Some of you might be having browser problems. I am using Firefox 1.06 if that helps.

I got tron 2.0, I know the reivews knocked it, but it looks interesting and I figured that an end cost of $7.40 was an acceptable risk.

click "view cart" and all I get is IMTL code. It still shows 4 items in my cart w/a 0 balance. I have to go to bed. I just want to place my order. Cry me a river.

They do, but I don't believe CC ever stocked stuff like Growlanser or Ys.

if u get null-null days that means u got it when out of stock. I had ys in my cart and it was out of stock before i completed, and now i get null to null for delivery time for that in order history

well i had bout 5 games in my cart before hand and just added a few more and then checked out with no problems at all, so i dunno whats up with you guys who cant check out, you are getting screwed right now:( The games i picked up are :

It was $75 with shipping and everything, damn some of those being 9.99. I hope you guys can get what you want soon, only other game i really want from the sale is Paper Mario 2.
 
Ok,ten seconds ago growlanser wasn't sold out,now it is. Amazing how I can't/we can't put anything in our carts but it still sells out. Amazing.
