I don't know why but at first I read this as Saving Private Ryan's Daughter.

Decent ad... but CC has this beat by a mile.

Yeah, avoid that $10 giftcard offer if you have a CC nearby... looks like the same list plus some, and without a giftcard.

Sorry to crap on the ad OP... it looks good otherwise! Thanks!

Are some of you hesitant to purchase DVDs with the inevitable release of Blu-Ray? This has really changed my DVD buying habits.

$27.99
Wallace & Gromit 2 Disc Collector's Ed.

I haven't done the checking around on this, but doesn't this seem really high for a first week release when it's only one other disc? Might have been interested as a blind buy, but $28 is pretty steep.

Thanks to the OP for the early prices.

I was also thinking of getting W&G as a blind buy, but I'm not going to pay $27.99 for it. I'll wait a few months and get it on sale.

I'm fairly certain this is the two disc release in which one disc is the full length movie (Curse of the Wererabbit), and the second disc is the other previously released 3 shorts (Grand Day Out, Wrong Trousers, Close Shave).

Here's the product page on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...5263070-9040819?_encoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=130

Or it could be like the War of the Worlds 2-disc at best buy. Who knows. On the W&G note, does anyone have the W&G box set from the PBS store that they used to have a while back? I think it was 4 discs and I always wanted to get it.

I hope that's the case, as I'd definitely go get that the first day. Thanks OP.

Well, this seems to good to pass on, even though I havent seen either. But firewall is getting decent reviews. 2 movies and a ticket for 7$.

Seriously, these people need to stop. Enough with this kitschy "edition" crap already.

Thanks for the ad.

I kid you not, in a couple months The Wedding Singer: The Totally Awesome Edition! is coming out.

Same thoughts here. I planned on seeing Firewall, now I just get 2 free movies along with it.

Is the Elizabethtown bonus disc in the case with the movie or is it separate? No one at my local BB seemed to have an idea.

so did anybody get the W&G collector's edition?? Is it worth buying even though it only comes in fullscreen? Does it hurt the movie any?
