Just got back from best buy and noticed green stickers randomly placed on games. WII, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PS2, and PSP games all some titles with green stickers on them. I ask an associate if the stickers meant anything and they said "If it has a sticker its $9.99." The strange thing is that there were multiple copies of some titles and only a few had green stickers on them and some didnt. This makes it super YMMV because the green sticker requires a manual override to make it $9.99.

Some titles i saw for $9.99 were

PS3
----
Battlefield Bad Company (GH)
Untold Legends Dark Kingdom (GH)

Xbox 360
---------
Oblivion Elder scrolls
Shaun White Snowboarding
Disney Sing it H.S. Musical w/ Mic Bundle
Some Paintball Game
GRAW 2

PSP
----
Final Fantasy Tactics
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles

A ton of Wii games, too many to remember.

I also saw tales of symphonia for $14.99.

there were a bunch more I cant remember right now. This was at the Best Buy on Kimball & Belmont in Chicago.
Could you possibly maybe say which store you saw this at? Is it in Chicago? People have been complaining about it being a regional deal, but it's not even that without the store info.
I did say which store it was. It's the one on kimball & belmont.

Sorry. I suffer from occasional bouts of temporary blindness.

Appreciate the heads up OP....hit 3 BB's and while I found green stickered games....nobody knew anything about "why" they were stickered......

I didn't see any green stickers at my BB but they did bring back the clearance shelf. They had FFCC: Echoes of Time :ds:, Valkyrie Profile: CotP :ds: and Star Ocean: Second Departure :psp: at 50% off ($14.99 and $9.99, respectively) among others. As always, these prices are YMMV.

for 10 bux, Bad Company is a fun pickup.

Also, this particular deal is super YMMV. Stickers like that are usually a manager's clearance, and done at their discretion. When they stop it or lose interest and forget about it, the stickers are left behind and the deal is called off. (although, if you start chatting to the manager personally he'd probably hook it up anyway if you ask politely). Enjoy, if you can.

Nada for me. Although there was a worker clearing off the PS2 shelves. I asked him if all the PS2 stuff was going to be on sale. He mentioned that there are no more PS2 games (a bit incorrect there but whatever) and that the stuff he was moving would probably eventually go on clearance. I didn't stick around to see where it was all getting moved to. I might swing by tomorrow to see what has changed.

They had stickers on at the Queens Mall, Rego Park, NY...About 20 copies of Rock Revolution, some old Xbox game, and a Baseball game. Kind of sucks, they were 9.99, maybe someone cleaned out all the other games and flipped to GS...I'll never know!

Does anyone remember about what time of year best buy did have that amazing $10 game sale last year? January? February? ....is it an annual event?
I miss the cart of stickered games at my closest Best Buy. It vanished this past week :(

*waits for several hundred dollars worth of Reward Zone purchases to post in RZ account
Mine vanished right before Christmas, when they combined clearance with cheap games like Rock Revolution.

April 26th. Checked my 360 blog and noticed the 5 games I bought from it played on that day.

Nothing -- and I mean nothing will ever compare to the $5 Circuit City craziness. Man, did I buy a lot of games that day :)

Close second would probably be TRU's $10 sale-a-thon a few years back when they essentially had practically every major PS2, XBX, and GCN title for $10.

my local bbuy has a big cardboard basket full of wii, ps3, 360 games on clearance, mostly for 10 or 15 bucks. shitty games though. nfl tour, simpsons game, mlb office manager, etc.

My BB had one of those, but it disappeared after the holidays.

i miss all of the crazy sales Circuit City had.. i still remember the one day they had games for 10 bucks each and i had like 50 of them in my hands just holding them to put back in the bins cause people were just tossing them on the ground and walking on them.... i remember people saying

#$#$# hoarder and i was like im just holding these so they dont get busted with idoits walking all over them. They would then say they were sorry they called me or hoarder and then we would get talking... still keep in touch with some of those people

Went to my local BB, and no green stickers, nothing. Video Game clerk recommended going to the webpage for clearance, which I did, and less than nothing there.

On the bright side, I did hit up my local Wal-Mart and their clearance shelf (fading fast) and picked up Eternal Sonata $10 and flipped it for $20 Gamestop credit. Also picked up Simpsons Game, $10, and enjoying playing that with the gf. Goodtimes goes out to all clearance racks, if ya gots them! :)
