So, today I went into Best Buy to pick up my pre-ordered copy of LoZ Skyward Sword Bundle (the one with the Gold Controller/CD)
I had limited time today rushing around and doing stuff for the holidays so I figured I would run in at 9Am (store opening), grab it and get the hell out of there...
Of course, the game was no where to be found. They stock locator said there were 4 copies in the store but after a 30 minute search they couldn't find one.
Typically I am pretty easy going about stuff like this, but this is the 4th time in a row that I have either pre-ordered a game or bought something online for in store pickup and it wasn't ready for me at the Customer Service area.
The other 3 times I simply went to the video game section and pulled the copy of the game I had ordered.
I asked to speak with the Operations Manager, she said all she could offer me was an apology and a phone call when they did get a copy in stock.
I expressed my displeasure, letting them know that I was a Premier Silver Member who shopped in that particular store and online frequently and that it has become a bad habit at that particluar store to not have orders ready for pickup.
She then offered to call a couple of other stores in the area to see if they had the game in stock but I would have to drive there myself to pick it up.
I let her know that was not an option and that I had no choice but to give her my number to call me when they had a copy.
Before I left though, I did make sure I would still be able to get the $10 Gift Card with purchase and use the 10% off mobile coupon when I do eventually pick it up.
Does anyone think I should call corporate and bitch more about this store? I am thinking about doing it as I'm really not too hard to please but in this case, I really am a dissatisfied customer who feels that the suits should know that this particular store has a habit of providing it's loyal customers subpar customer service.
thoughts anyone?
