-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is confirmed that there is no minimum and $5 games will come up as $0.00.

A scan of the current coupon has been posted by lebowsky on page 6.

One person reported that it did not work in conjunction with the 2 for $30 deal running this week.

Another person reported that they were able to successfully use a prinout of the scanned coupon on the top of page 4 (new version on page 6).

Good luck to all.

The GGC didin't work? You are talking about the lime green one right? Or are you talking about the $5 off for this weekend only coupon? The GGC should work until the end of this year. Were the games for PC? I have heard of the cards not working for PC games.

I am going today, I will let you guys know if it works or not.

The $5 off anything in the order besides the single title that counts $19.99 or more is dead. Saw evidence of it last night.

The GGC took off $5 from the item I picked up that was $19.99 or more and not the $9.99 games I had with it.
DAMN YOU BEST BUY!
Unfortunately, Best Buy has never been known for its kindness to and support of educated consumers. I fear this practice will continue in the future. :(
"this has been printed, we don't accept printed coupons"

I said "I got it in a e-mail, how else should I bring it in"
I love giving that response :D

Anyhow, I used the coupon twice and both times it would not scan, and could not be entered by hand. They just took $5 off each game manually. Except for EQ Online Adventures, which was $4.99. The cashier refused to give it to me for free, oh well ;)

Wait, that's the GGC that won't work right? The $5 off coupon in the mail works 'till Monday.

Is this worth using the BB $5 coupon for these games?

These are the prices after the discount coupon BTW:
GC RE 1 (remake for Cube) $10
XB Metal Arms $5
PS2 Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution $5

I saw these games today (Sunday) but I hesitated since I could live without them... but they are kind of hard to pass up for that cheap. And Monday is the last day of the sale. Any advice?

I tried using the coupon and it didn't work out for me as well. I was also feed the 'these games are on clearance line' and then pointed out that Star Fox Assault and Jak II aren't clearance games at $49.99 and $19.99.

They wouldn't budge so I didn't bother. I did have to fight with the manager to PM Star Fox with the ad from Circuit City.

Yes to all three of them, without a question.

Thanks for nudging me into buying those 3 games. I ended up getting all of them for about $20 today+tax(Monday).

The coupon did not scan automatically so my cashier had to manually change the prices... for a second, she marked Resident Evil at $4.99 but then she caught her own mistake at the last second... Darn! Almost got $10 off on that game!

Either way, I'm happy with RE, Metal Arms and Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution for $20... and I picked up a couple more of the GGC for a penny each. Hope everyone else's cheapass weekend was as good as mine .
