I bought my 360 before they changed their warranty plan and i last used it in oct 08 to replace my e74 360, while i bought an extension to my plan that expires later this year

i just checked best buys site and it says my 360 is covered under their product replacement plan still

so just curious would it be possible for me to return my old 360 if its broken and just upgrade to a slim? course id like to keep my hard drive or hope they at least let me transfer the data
 
Cant remember if it is October but if it still says replacement plan then it most likely is.
Just take it in to geek squad they will type in PSP # and it will notify them if it is serviceable or non repairable (exchange it)
