Best Buy return policy?

Hi cag!
My parents bought me a mount for tvs 13"-26" for my birthday on 11/12
I hung it up on 11/13
On Thursday I took it down because it was annoying, an it ended up ripping up my wall. I unscrewed it and I pretty much just fell, dragging along most of the wall that was there, including the drywall.
I followed setup correctly so it shouldn't have done that.
I chipped all of the paint and drywall off - am I allowed to return this?

Sounds like it wasn't properly wall mounted - as if it wasn't anchored in drywall properly or attached to studs. Unless you literally fell while holding the TV while the TV was still attached to the wall, that might explain why your wall ripped out.

The tv was already off of the mount. All instructions were followed properly and the tv was mounted properly for about tv weeks. I got annoyed at how the tv was turned so I took it off of the mount, leaving the just the mount screwed to the wall. I unscrewed it, expecting it to drop, but it suctioned to the wall for about 3 hours, and it fell, as we intended, but it came off with the wall. The back is not sticky so it shouldn't take the wall out, an it was not intended to rip ou peoples walls.
