I got that every few months mailing of the "exclusive sales event" in the mail today. So if you are a Reward Zone member check your mail!

It has the coupon for 10% off all regularly priced music, movies, toys, VIDEO GAMES, and pc games.

(any combination, limit 3.)

August 31 - September 3

:applause: Just in time!

Now I know where I will be getting my copy of Stuntman: Ignition!!

Question, I went to Bestbuy today to buy Blue Dragon and they didn't allow me to use the email coupon for the game stating that it was a new release and that it was excluded because of that. The checkout guy said it was always like this. I remember using this before on a new release. Was this ever normal policy? I had to talk to a manager and he oked it but he sure stared at the coupon. The coupon doesn't mention anything about new release videogames, only new release DVDs and video game hardware.

That's definitely weird. I know they might sometimes be picky if the game is on sale, and not regular price. However, wasn't the Blue Dragon game selling for the regular price of $59.99? You should not have had any problems, whatsoever.

I was able to combine the above 10% coupon with another coupon where BB was offering a $10 gift card for the purchase of Madden '08 (360). MSRP was $59.99, and net cost after CA tax, the 10% coupon, and the $10 gift card was $48.44.

If you look at the coupon, it says not good on new release DVDs and video game hardware. This is probably causing your clerk some confusion. I'd say the real reason it didn't work is that the coupon doesn't start until tomorrow.

That's true for the snail mail coupons, but not for the e-mailed ones. (Different dates and SKUs for each.)

OP, you may want to update the thread byline for the e-mail coupons and add a coupon link to your post.

I haven't used these coupons in the last six months, but I can't recall seeing the line about new DVDs before now. It should work on new video games. If you need a clerk override now, I expect to see exclusion language for new games sooner rather than later.

BB has been a bit YMMV on acceptance of it, though in most cases, they just scan it and it works with the sale price.

New releases being exempt? That's complete crap.

Thanks everyone for the responses. yeah, Blue Dragon was regular price $59.99. I thought it was BS also, that's why I asked for a manager, especially when the clerk said that it was always this way. I also checked the coupon that was mailed to me and it has the same restrictions as the email PDF one.

Anyone know if this will work on consoles? My aunt wants to get a PS2 and guitar hero 2 for her son. And I can't load the coupon for some reason.

if you scroll down there is a 10% off video game software coupon.

to get the 10% off hardware is very YMMV.

i did use one of these when I bought my DS lite and the guy took 10% off.

THERE ARE THREE COUPONS IN THE PDF.

It might work on games, sometimes the cashier will just enter the discount themself, its all depending on the cashier. It is worth a try on games.
