I hate that these deals aren't online also; anyone else feel me? I would've bought it already, but I'm being lazy and don't want to go to the store to get one.
The deals, being somewhat of a loss leader, are designed to get you into the store so you buy that and theoretically other items.

I completely agree with that, but I'd likely buy more online -- I guess it's just me. I think online typically has a better selection, and you don't have to deal with the douchebaggery that are the store associates.

Most people, like myself, when picking up an in-store pickup purchase pick up the item(s) in question and then leave the store. Shipment purchases obviously don't generate in-store revenue.

These are designed to get people in the store. If you don't want to take advantage of the deal by going into the store, you don't buy it. Pretty simple.

I was just posting my opinion, there isn't need to be rude.

I understand the basic economics of this deal; I work for a retail company supporting their marketing efforts -- it's sales/marketing 101; doesn't mean I can't have an opinion.
