I don't see the big deal. Why are you guys scared to try? Better than sitting here complaining about the op. Anyway, If it doesn't work it's not a big deal.

it takes me 35 mins to drive to canada if i can do the trades with my us ID

That's really not that odd. Us Canada guys have tried it many times on USA deals. It's obviously not allowed in the PM fineprint, but your average clerk often doesn't understand what IS allowed. So you could luck out.

 
According to Canadian sites people were waited in line for 1-2 hours.  Some people brought their whole family

But it takes less time complaining to the OP than driving to the store and trying to price match a trade-in offer not meant for your region.

 
woot just grabbed a copy of CoD:ghost for Assassin creed 2...which i paid $10 for 3 years ago and have a duplicate of which i got from the 3 game pack...there were at least 500+ people there and thankfully the store i went to got restocked from the vaughan location since they weren't allowed to participate in the promotion cause of by-laws....i love this site :)

Dam I went to two different locations and the lines were ridiculous. I went later that day and one of the employers said they were sold out but they might restock tomorrow so I'll try to get there before they open at 9:00.

 
I am really interested in Batman Arkham Origins for X360. If anyone wants to trade their Arkham Origins for 360 (BNIB or open is fine as long as it is MINT) for either Ghosts, AC4 or Battlefield 4 let me know! (All of these are for 360)

Yep. In Toronto I went to the Bestbuy on Dundas st. near the Eaton centre and the Futureshop on Yonge st. minutes away, in both cases there were lines a block long just to get into the line INSIDE the store. Ridiculous deal, but just couldn't be bothered to dedicate several hours in a line in the cold for it.
 
The FS in Guelph ran out of stock around 1:30PM. The manager was evasive about any restocking that might go on, so I might try again tomorrow. They were enforcing the one game per person rule throughout the day.

Be warned, the method they used was that you first waited in a long line to have your trade in checked by a rep, then you got to wait in another line to make the exchange. The first rep was checking people through well past the point where they were out of games, so don't think that because you got a sticker, you'll be getting anything.

I did manage to get a copy of AC4 for 360, but I was the 2nd last person to get a game (PS3 stuff was cleaned out first, then PC, 360 held on the longest...more stock I think). There were probably 100-150 people behind me who had no real warning that they were wasting their time.
