Due to popular demand, here is a listing of the Yellow Ticket games currently at Best Buy. These games are mixed into the normal games section at each store, but are all marked with yellow stickers showing their new lower price. Most of these are 9.99, but you can get them for 4.99 with the $5 coupons below

There are definitely more, and I'll be updating the list with additional games later this evening. Happy hunting.

*Update 4-11
The $5 coupons do not work automatically on the 4.99 games. If you're lucky, you can get a careless manager to override, but this is very unlikely to happen. They still work on the 9.99+ games.
New games added in green. There are walls of GBA for 9.99/14.99, but not many are particularly good. I've added the few I remember.

Well, my sis bought it for 2 bucks a couple of weeks ago. It was dropped to $1.99 with the recent drop and sat unnoticed on the shelves for a few weeks. It was thrown in with the regular DS games above the DS rack where they place games end-to-end, kinda like a bookshelf. So it did not have a sticker or was not in the frontlane display. Your best shot is to have them price check.

If it had a white sticker on it, then it's that price. Price checking won't do anything because they scan the UPC which is also a sticker.

Gotcha. I was picturing the white stickers with the price that they slap onto the front of the box without a barcode. I understand now.

Peel off the UPC sticker on the back of it. The original UPC might still ring up as $1.99. I was able to get a few Nanobreakers for $1.99 that way a few weeks ago.

So Rave Master for GCN is like Power Stone? I played One Piece Grand Adventure and thought it was similar to Super Smash Bros but I didn't like it a whole lot though =\

I hope I can still get RM from Best Buy ^_^ $5 is a good enough price to try it out...

That isn't kosher.

Peeling off the sticker may backfire on you too. I did it for shamen king for gba (white sticker = $9.99) I peeled off the stickered upc, to reveal the original upc and it rang up for $14.99

Last night i went to best buy again fro a couple minutes cuz my dad was buying sometin real fast, but sprung actually had a yellow sticker... Does that cheange anything?? lol :booty: :booty: advice? :booty: :booty:
From Russia with Love (PSP) $10 or $5 after coupon.
Crash Racing (GC) $10
Ive been looking for From Russia With Love (PSP) for along time but my best buy didnt have them... If anyone can find this game and get it for $5 (using the cupon),
I'd be willing to pay $8 plus shipping or whatever. Really want this game sealed (I can use paypal to pay)

I'm not sure where the OP got the information about the coupon not working on $4.99 games, but I can confirm that this is true. Brought up a copy of NBA 2k6 (4.99) and the coupon. Guy scanned both, did all the usual stuff, but the price never changed. Coupon still worked on 9.99 games though. Damn bastards are getting smart at corporate I guess.

the new coupon from 3/12-4/31 is not working on any under $5. I tried 3 times & no go. Oh well, at least save any $5 on any game ;)

It used to. I know I used it when it first came out and got a free game no problem (minus the funny look from the cashier). They must've fixed sometime in the last 2 weeks or so.

It's best to make transactions late at night, right before closing, if you're gonna buy something that'll come up free. They'll usually be forced to pretty much manually override it just to get rid of the customers. :p

That and you can present the argument that the coupon specifically says any game of that type has $5 taken off. :p

I got the information personally from trying it twice and having it fail both times.

He got it from people like me reporting it to him ;) in the Best Buy frontlane game thread (and his own experience, apparently).

It was "turned off" some time late last week or possibly on the weekend (I tried it Sunday April 1st and it didn't work).

Edit - Didn't read parker's post yet - apparently, we've nailed down exactly when it happened - between last Saturday night and Sunday morning. So either it is coincidence, or it corresponds to a weekly ad cycle, or, for some reason, it changed from March to April. Interesting...

I find it effective to do it when they're busy. They want to keep the line moving, and they don't want to come off as unfriendly towards customers.

I tried get 2 RAVE Master (GC) and the cashiers rejected my coupon yestersday (Blahh blahh we get trouble for accepting copies coupons). I bought it anyway but i'll be back later this week & re-buy them again with $5 off coupon and return both of them with old receipt.

GR BB give $9.50 Each credit trade in plus taxes. I endup get WTF & Lemmings for $21.XX after taxes. Yeap i have to paid extra $1.50 from my pocket.
I found Elite Beat Agents for 15 Dragon Quest Rocket Slime for 12 and Lunar Knights for 15 ^_^
Is this a YMMV deal? Because they had a bunch of copies of EBA at my Best Buy.

Got 75% off Loco Roco, which was nice.

Lunar Knights was still full price at my BB. Was this a manager override thing?

Why on earth would they clearance EBA this early?

Hell, I'd buy LK for $15...
