How come you put a period between site and ever? Were this proper, you should have nothing there, or maybe a comma to denote a breath. Ever hardly constitutes a sentence all its own.

Short answer: This ain't proper.

Long answer: To signify the magnitude of the site's supposed impact on future viewers. Stemming from a slang term begun by The Simpsons's Comic Book Guy, referring to things as "Worst. [Noun/Adjective]. Ever." Uttering that phrase in a staccato fashion led to humorus situations in addition to magnifying the Comic Book Guy's exasperation with said object. Then, as time would have it, using this statement as a way to express one's personal feelings on the internet became popular. Internet users used it to express such thoughts as "Worst. Idea. Ever." (Aside: Ever is comically misspelled to "evar" on occasion, again to maginfy the humor or severity of the statement).

The complete set towers over my petty soft bound C&H books. They shiver in its presence and scream for mercy.
