i find them that cheap too like at sears or kmart, thing is, you know, you get what you pay for, im no expert on knowing whats good for that price when it comes to portable dvd players, but i know coby is not to be trusted :/, anywho, any back info on these things would be appreciated.

Get a Toshiba, they get great reviews from all the models I've looked at, and they've all dramatically dropped in price over the past year! Check out your local Fry's, they have a bunch of portable players ranging from $150-$250. You can get a nice 7" one for $200 at most places anyways.

Avoid Samsung for cameras.
Get a Canon or Nikon. I worked at the BB camera dept. for about 8 months so I've learne what's good and what's not. Look at these models:
Canon Powershot A510/A520 $199 and $249?
Nikon Coolpix 4600/5600 $199 and $249

Those are the best (cheap) camera's in the world. I am serious the canon the pics from that at least look like a 8MP camera. Awesome camera.
