I would keep an eye on Amazon. They drop the Xbox 360 Arcade down to $160 at times.

How to get an Xbox 360 for 80 bucks or less.
1.Buy a RROD 360 from a site like Goodwill or Ebay still under it's Three year RROD Warranty.
Here's one that I found:http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=6157622
2.Call 1-800-4-MYXBOX and read to them the Serial Number from the goodwill pic from the link above or wherever you find the broken XBOX online (online people take pics of the serial # so you can make sure it's not stolen before you buy) to them to set up a replacement order for the Broken Xbox, Call them before you buy the Xbox just to make sure there are no hiccups with the serial number there shouldn't be but you never know.
3. Once the repair order is set buy and get the broken Xbox from wherever
then go to whichever email address you gave to xbox and they will have provided you with a printable UPS slip to the exchange site in TX, print that off and use the box the Xbox came in as the one to ship to TX. With that you won't have had to pay for shipping or anything just maill only the console cause they take whatever you send like the HDD if mailed by mistake.
4.Wait approx. 2 Weeks (1 Week in my case and I dont even live in TX.)
5.UPS drops off New Xbox at your door with 90-day warranty and 1 month XBL Gold and you can buy a 1 year warranty for like 25 bucks from that 1800Xbox#.
This how I got my Xbox for like 80 bucks and I was lucky cause the one at Goodwill came with all the cords and a 120 Gb HDD
