Best ergonomic keyboard and mouse?

CAGiversary!
Howdy all,

I'm beginning to to feel everyone's favorite pain in the wrist, so I figure I might have to invest in some slightly more ergonomic input devices if I'm gonna continue on the path of PC-gamerhood.

Any recommendations shy of getting cybernetic implants would be greatly appreciated.

I need a new wireless mouse and my keyboard isn't wireless so I'm thinking about buying the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 combo that comes with keyboard and mouse. Anyone else have one of these? Is the battery life on the mouse long enough to stand up to heavy usage? Here's a pic of it:

I have the Saitek II along with a Logitech G7 and love them both. The G5 is just a wired version of the G7 if you're not interested in wireless.

That's what I had, and I've since upgraded to the 6000. It's okay, nothing special, quite average. The mouse of the 6000 crapped out on me and I had to replace it... I chose a Microsoft Sidewinder, which is starting to crap out on me. I'm getting Logitech next time around.
