Best Game Value 2008

Tough one for this year. I put Metal Gear Solid 4 because the single player was perfect and worth the money and then even put in a good online multiplayer. I would have put Fallout 3 if the DLC came out for PS3 :(

I wanted to say Left4Dead but until the pc community pump out some sweet maps or the amount of maps compared to TF2 my vote goes to Burnout Paradise. Everytime I put the game down and want to move from it another DLC comes out and I am back to playing it again.

I own Burnout, Banjo, and Gears. Even though Banjo is low priced and fun, and Burnout kept releasing stuff that should have been in the game (I own 4 other Burnout games), I vote Gears 2. It has stayed in the system and gets the most playtime by my household. They did include the bonus 5 maps at purchase, too.

I'm probably one of the few who actually enjoyed GTA IV. I still like driving around, doing jumps and causing anarchy, long after I completed the story

I'm going to say Burnout Paradise because of all the DLC that has been put out (lot of it free) and the game itself can be purchased now for $29.99 or less.

I am torn between RB2, with it's ability to import all your RB1 songs and Burnout Paradise with all the free dlc! I voted for Burnout, even though I have played RB2 more....

This sounds like such a cliched endorsement, but Rock Band 2 has revolutionized local multiplayer gaming in my apartment. Never have I seen so much shared enjoyment over one game. And it's been said a million times, but the non-gamer appeal of RB really is a sight to behold. RB2 gets the vote from me, no contest.

I'd say Fallout 3 because I thought it was legitimately brilliant and one of the best games I've played in years.

Hard to vote against a new GTA game, or LBP, but man, Fallout 3 was a lifestyle for me for a while... didn't see my gf for a month... and I live with her.

LittleBigPlanet is my pick. L4D was good there was still some flaws. GTA 4 would have been my pick had the missions not been so repetitive. MGS 4 was great but I needed more game play and a longer game.

It's good that Burnout won. It was the best value all year. They had free content while Fallout's DLC cost money.
