Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a good headset to use with my PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. My budget is about $200 give or take, and I just need help finding the right headset or headset combo. I know a lot of people like to use the Astro Mixamp with other headsets, but I just want some suggestions before I plop some money down. Any help?

I can't recommend the Astros enough. They are versatile and sound better than my surround sound (not audiophile, but HK/Infinity reference speakers, a nice setup). Seriously, they are killer. If you can find a used set of A40s (I've seen some pop up on CL or ebay for around your budget). But then again, used cans might creep you out, depending on the previous owner...
Anyway, don't waste your money on cheaper and less versatile cans. If you can't afford the $300 for those, just wait another month. I bought mine before my son was born and I rarely play without them now.
